99Amano is vastly superior to 95Amano so not suprising at all.
I'm sure he's using Kaiten.
The 99 Amano is a tremendous difference over the 95. Anywhere I can cap attack I can't get Shoha to beat Kaiten unless multihits proc like windbuffet's. Kaiten has its place, and Nyzul is one of them.

if i had 99 amano i would most definately use that in Nyzule. atm rocking 4hit stardiver build. pretty happy with it.
btw, our group has 3sams 1 drk. we've hit 100 2x in the last week. just throwing that out there lol. i think luck/good players matter a bit more than what job you come to nyzule tbh.
Stardiver looks pretty fun. It's like the old days at birds. R.I.P tomoe. Is Draca Couse still our best option for pole? I haven't really kept up since abyssea.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned it yet but sam does bring Warding Circle and Hamanoha to the table. There are lots of Imps and Soulflayers around. Floor 100 boss is also a demon.
I'm in no way saying this justifies actively seeking a sam to join, but if the sam knows their ***than its a noteworthy bonus.

Anyone mind posting their Polearm TP/WS sets? I've not looked into SAM polearm since 75.

Probably a 95 Amano. 99 Amano should be pretty sweet on Nyzul like content.
I don't know if Draca Couse is the best polearm, it's just the highest base damage SAM has (112) along with a 480 delay, decent combo at least.
Until I can upgrade to 99 *cough*

Ep mobs yes. Just swap to gkt for bosses. If we didn't have to constantly move and run around then I would wear amano to make use of the delay difference.
How would Gigantes Boots compare to Unkai Sune-ate +2 in attack capped situations for Fudo? I plugged them in Motenten's Spreadsheet and while the 'WS damage' increased, the 'Overall DPS' lowered. Is this because of the Conserve TP on AF3 feet which, when occurs, the overflow TP would beat the extra 3 STR on Gigantes? Or is this just an error in the spreadsheet.
Ll, don't forget that the unkai also have a lot of acc+. Tachi:Fudo is flippin notorious for missing when it rightfully shouldn't lol.
The target was a fodder mob and using Aggressor. I don't think accuracy is a problem.
Why would you care about fodder mobs then? They are just that... just fodder mobs that nobody has any troubles with.

And yes, that would be a result of the Conserve TP. I can't speak for the accuracy of the result since I'm not looking at the spreadsheet right now, just that it would be the cause.

Curious about this as well. Just put together this set quickly to see what is easily obtainable as I work on getting Neo-Nyzul pieces and better. Please rip me apart for all the stupid choices I may have made/over looked lol
EDIT: Went for an easy 5 hit, looking over some stuff should I be aiming for a 4 hit?

Been wondering this myself. Will post another set with what "maybe" an improvement. Not thought about polearm TP sets in a very long time lol.
Mine will probably be a 5 hit also as I have never ever looked into 4 hitting anything.
I don't think there's a way that you can make a 4-hit worth it tbh, unless I'm overlooking something.

Could probably keep in pole grip actually just put rose in out of habit.
Hachiryu haramaki is just sex if stp or haste is not needed on a body as you retain some hasso zanshin and gain +5% crit and a dash more att/acc when using polearm over unkai domaru +2.

21.9 TP/hit with that TP setup. What does your Stardiver set look like?
