COMPLETE speculation but I'm gonna say HKCNM with high droprate. That's completely from my *** though.

I'm willing to bet all the new spells have a chance of dropping in WoE, Voidwatch, and the new BCNMs. We had Kakka and Blizzaja drop in Voidwatch last night off the top of my head.

It can totally absorb Saboteur, Composure,Seigan, Third Eye, Hasso, Konzen Ittai, Focus, Dodge, Berserk in ballista. (Among other things.)
However no divine seal oddly enough.
No 2hrs however.
I used it on Deathlord Rognoj in campaign and got a massively overpowered dread spikes that was incredible.

Gonna be fun using this spell can't wait to get this. Would be fun using it on a NM that gets a regain effect.

I couldn't absorb magma hoplon D from cerb ;_ ;
Used it on Begrimed turtles in WoE and stole Harden Shell. 695 DEF on DRK isn't bad.

Gonna bump this to see if there are any more experiences people wanna share with the spell.
Would be good to get a feel for when/where this spell is especially useful. I'm sure we all pretty much get how it works, but some "Hey, I absorbed this for like 20 minutes and it was awesome! I was then able to go and do X all day with the boost!" posts would be fun to read. I think this may potentially be tied with the Last Resort boost in terms of useful updates to the job.
Come on DRK community, don't give up on trying to find out what the job is capable of! From what I already understand of the spell's strength, I feel like it's got to be ripe for early exploitation in some specialized instances somewhere. Maybe some crack between an Aura Steal adjustment and us?
I'm particularly interested in long-lasting buffs. There may be some situations where a DRK could be in a zone and there's a mob in that zone that gives a great buff for a long enough time for him to take the time to run and nab it when he needs it. If I'm doing something in Abyssea - La Theine and there's a mob that I can get 15 minute regain from, I want to know that I can go and grab that every 15 minutes lol.
Disclaimer: I've been working on Caladbolg (21/50 until 85) and have decided to hold off on leveling DRK until I have it. That's why I'm asking and not doing it myself.

Really curious about the duration of some of these effects. Thanks for posting, there's just a terrible lack of shared findings with Absorb-Attri imo.
Has the full remaining duration of whatever you absorb. You can absorb Mother Globe's shock spikes and it lasts 60 minutes.
Tried that on PW about 15 times, and it failed to absorb anything.

Absorbed a Scorpion's Sharp Strike status in Abyssea Tahrongi;
it lasted three minutes. +50% ATK from a base of 756. It was fun while it lasted.
