top

twilight/triplus alone will outparse twilight/sax by quite a bit.

you're not sacrificing anything with the top set, but with the bottom, you're sacrificing quite a bit of DEX/ATT for very little gain at all.

Second set loses a lot of dot by using Rapidus sax and is only at 25% haste. Switching Ocelot gloves to Dusk Gloves +1 would bring you to capped haste, but I'm still not sure if that would be enough to make it better than the first TP set. And if inside abyssea, you should be using Demonry ring over Rajas, making set bonus and triplus even better.

You could improve that second set by using dusk+1 instead of ocelots. You area also losing a lot of dps in that second set by using rapidus instead of triplus, and ocelots (or other haste gloves) instead of AF3 gloves.

I would go with the first set, but swap love torque with rancor collar. The second set is just sacrificing way too much to make use of nusku.

or ryuga sune-ate if you need the accuracy. Either way, it's only a slight improvement over homam.

Top for sure, but in addition I'd swap out the love torque for Agasaya's collar.

rancor collar easily beats agasaya's unless the 10% DT puts you in a instant-death situation (but that's what PDT/MDT set macros are for).

During those situations, or lacking a Rancor collar, would Agasaya's beat Love Torque? I was under the impression that Love Torque would be better.

+8 attack is better than +7 dagger skill for damage. +7 dagger skill and +5 dex wins for accuracy (barely). Agasaya's also has that tasty subtle blow. They are very similar, but agasaya's is usually the better choice between the two.

Outside about abyssea though, the 5 dex would push Love torque over the top I imagine? Crit hit rate and all

Nope, my Love Torque nets me 9 attack.

Once food wore off, it gave 7 attack, oh dopey me.

Edit: Wait, I have food on, I will correct this in a bit.

My main trigger here is wanting to make use of the Nusku's sash cause while .3% haste isn't much 5% delay on top of 25% haste is HUGE. I mean it would far outweigh most any other benefits wouldn't it?

If your dDex is not capped, I think love torque would win.

Assuming you patched up the second set with dusk+1 to cap your haste, you are giving up from a normal set:
5% crit rate (rancor collar)
2% Double attack (twilight belt)
3% Triple attack (triplus)
8 dex, 8 str, 18 acc, 10 attk
and slightly higher set bonus proc rate.

The first three stats alone should be enough to surpass nusku's.

At lower haste levels I can be convinced, but what about x2 marches, haste, and samba? At some point the 5% from Nusku's must win out.

It would totally depend on how close you are to the delay cap which if you remember is made up of sources of both haste and dw. If you're capped on gear haste and not at the delay cap, then yes, obviously dw will help you, but overall if you're not capped on gear haste your best bet, both TP and dot wise, would be to add more haste until you are capped.

Um.....i dont know how this slipped everyones mind, but the second set has 32% haste. Cap is 26%. Every haste over 26% has zero effect. None. Zip. Nada. Cero.

Second set is utter garbage.

Complete. Garbage. Period.

Winner by forfeit! Set #1!

Nusku's sash, not twilight. Can't tell if serious or not.
