Barspell Test
I wouldn't use the term "MDB" in that regard, as it's completely different. dINT is what it is.

You can hit them a lot faster than you can get a worm to cast Stonega III on you. TY for all the nice comment though, this was my first test and as short at it looks like.I started at 2pm and finished at 10:30 pm lol Alot longuer then I though it would take. Heh, it took me a lot longer than it should have to hit upon that as a testing method. That's how I determined the absorb rate for Atma and such. If you're going to go that route though, it'll be best if you use a text search tool with your log files to make the analysis easier. Cerberus.Vaness said: » not sure if I explained this well. Didnt trust parser, wasn't sure if it would show if the set procced (god pls some1 give me another word to use =( ) I gotta say that I am a kparser tard and I didn't wanted to *** stuff up. I was thinking about posting SS for everything, wich is the main reason why it took so long.When I got to actual sets, I said *** it and used logger instead lol your use of the word proc is fine, everyone understood and knew exactly what you meant. He just felt the need to nitpick a perfectly fine test.
If logger gives you a text file, you can use a search tool to find the frequency of phrases like:
1) deals 0 damage to Vaness" (when set procs) 2) "deals * damage to Vaness" (* is generally a wildcard, this would be when the set doesn't proc) 1 divided by 2 would give you the proc rate. Oh, I forgot that I wrote this >.<;

For sure, haha. I use AstroGrep, but everyone has their own that they prefer. I just like that one because it's about as bare-bones as you can get.
If you click the link, the sample was 21 procs out of 203 nukes (by the same worms you used) for the 5/5 AF3+2 set test. sounds pretty accurate to what I saw today.But I don't really feel like counting stuff in logger atm rofl xD

You can save a lot of time doing that versus manually counting. ty for the test van but did u test 4/5 af3+2(head, body, hands, feet)
and relic legs? I still need an augmenting earring(none on ah). I haven't tested anything, but I'm guessing the additional % from +2 gloves(if there is any from going 3/5 to 4/5) will outdo the damage mitigation from the +5 enhancing from Augur's in the long run. I'd like to find out the % increase from 4/5 to 5/5, then I'll know if Cleric's Pantaloons +1 are better than the +2 for legs. At the time being, I'll stick with the Pantaloons. thanks so much for taking the time to do the test Vaness :)
I too would be interested in a bigger sample size comparing 4/5 to 5/5, personally I use the +2 gloves over the Augurs. At the time being, I'll stick with the Pantaloons. 4/5 or 5/5 don't win over 3/5 with clerics and augur's WHY? Because the 5/5 +2 set procc is too low and to random to make it even a little usefull in a normal event. For exemple on dragua, the set would procc once or maybe twice, the overall damage would tell you that your tank took near the double DMG as he would using augur's + clerics. legs i can see, but hands are probably going to be pretty marginal regardless.
I'm gonna do another test testing set procc and overall dmg with 100 spells including quake,stonega 3 and stone 4.
gonna do it the following sets: 5/5 +2 4/5 +2 (with clerics pants) 3/5 +2 with augur's and cleric's pants Hopefully it gives an idea of the % procc rate. Will post it in a new thread when I am done.Might take a while lol Cerberus.Vaness said: » I'm gonna do another test testing set procc and overall dmg with 100 spells including quake,stonega 3 and stone 4. gonna do it the following sets: 5/5 +2 4/5 +2 (with clerics pants) 3/5 +2 with augur's and cleric's pants Hopefully it gives an idea of the % procc rate. I think keeping in this thread would be the best though ;D can edit your original post :) Bismarck.Josiahkf said: » you could just link like 4 worms for more casting faster ADDED the set procc test to the initial first post.
