What this means: up to interpretation but I HOPE what they really meant to say is 'There aren't a lot of monsters immune to all enfeebles so we don't need to adjust them much
Yeah this is what I hope they're saying as well. I'd hate to see any new NMs be resistant out the ***.
As NM's who are immune to all enfeebles, or highly resistant, become pointless to kill (their drops aren't worth anything due to new armor coming out) they add in an equal balance of NM's that do the same thing in updates.

So there will be new NM's that do this, but only because a NM died to give life to a new one. The only thing they are changing, I think, is the balance between highly susceptible monsters vs normal monsters so that there is a higher % of highly susceptible monsters.
I've been doing some old-school HNMs lately and it seems like they've gotten easier to land enfeebles on in comparison to the level 75 era. For example, a few days ago killing Tiamat, it was susceptible to Gravity, Slow II and Silence. Granted, this was my first time doing Tiamat ever, so I wouldn't know if Tiamat was resistant or not at 75. But that's beside the point:

It's more or less people saying that we don't want the high-*** resistances happening again like in the days of old. Which I commend SE for looking into preventing that from happening.

and honestly about the resistance i'd like a challenge post 75 cap into visions and scars most of them had no real resistance, actually make us balance our gear out vs certain endgame nms and know what sweet spots to balance out with macc vs mnd and all that good ***. The main con about that is possibly lugging around more gear

i miss the old days sometimes

Make it possible to use Cure V.
In regards to support capability, we’re thinking more in the direction of adjustments that will differ from white mage.

Instead of just simply adding a high-tier Cure, we’re looking into making it so scholars can raise their performance further by enhancing the effects of stratagem use and regen-type magic. However, this doesn’t mean that we won’t be adding a high-tier Cure later down the line.

With RDM and SCH getting Gravity II, this would also mean RDM and SCH will not be getting Cure 5

Deal with It

Wouldn't see why. Gravity is an enfeebling spell. RDMs are *the* enfeeblers.

Hello. Recently, I have the answer that you are considering a higher Gravity down to avoid a magical effect, the results of further study, the higher will be the magic of Gravity only Red Mage, Red Mage support job even if included in other jobs that direction now likely to be unavailable. I expected everyone to know superset of Gravity is unfortunate, really sorry. New plans or to provide for scholars of magic effects ... but for similar terms, are unique in that we want to scholars if you add a new spell much trouble, only to scholars of magic separately (eg Toka Slip TP) that is considering that. For here I hope to introduce in the future.

All they did was answer stupid useless melee questions ~_~

The only good question was the enhancing magic one.

Quote:
I like the idea of RDM changing from a healer into a Enhancing and debuffing mage, and make sure to add NM's that would suffer the effects. No point in adding RDM abilities if they have no realistic use in game.
^ I agree with this, would be so fun. Debuffs are what I love about RDM

@Ninian, are your numbers counting the +60% from 5/5 af3+2 and af3 cape? Because I get different numbers for my spell durations, haste is 9 mins with composure..

The RDM manifest was:

"Support specialists who excel at transforming their allies from mere mortals into demigods with their enhancement"

Which the answers to these queries are supposed to semi-represent.

Why would sch ever expect something like gravity II? they are a very straight forward mages. Nuke/Cure. they have practically no enfeebles to begin with and the ones they do require addenda. People need to remember what their jobs are good at, and stop asking for things that dont make sense or im gunna ask for drg to get velocity shot

Not that I don't like Saboteur just the way it is, but they could make it to where using it would let you land enfeebles to mob that would otherwise resist and/or be immune to them. Kinda like an elemental seal exclusive to RDMs. Excluding sleep and gravity because I think that would just make ANYTHING stupid easy, lol. This would definitely not make me cry when capped Slow II is resisted. ><;
