Got kills with the jet! Woot. Unlocked flares and heat-seakers. So much easier now.

I've gotten better with jets, but I tend to use tanks or stay on foot because I can get more points that way whilst providing support for my team.

Just need to get better at taking down choppers that are annihilating your team members all while watching your own back. You'll be doing your team a huge service.

I can get the choppers fine. It's the jets behind me that I can never out maneuver. I try to be as sporadic as possible when I'm trying to lose them, but those really good pilots do not let up.

was definately self-defense, I was pretty tired & half drunk @ that point in the campaign, if you don't stab it, the rat will start knawing at your arms, which causes a commotion. at which point a soldier kills you. lol

I just bought this game 3 days ago.. finished campaign. Decided to go online, joined server, ran around for 30 seconds, found an enemy, unloaded a full clip right into him...then he killed me with 2 shots....AM I DOIN IT WRONG!?

If you are shooting from the hip, then yes. Yes you are.

Were they running? Laying behind cover? A good distance out? Face-to-face?

Also what often times seems like 2 shots they actually fire half a clip into you, or using 3shot burst mode and actually put 6 rounds into you. Unless it was a battle-riffle.

ya need to rank up and get better accessories for ya guns as well. also being in a 4 man squad helps a ***ton and adds to the exp ya can get. ie; for resupplies ya will get a squad ressuply wich is worth more points

personaly im glad all the CoD campers are gone for now, can actuay get some decent play going

Get used to walking around with the iron sights up, or whatever scope/sight you have on the weapon. Most other people are already walking around with them up, when you come face to face with an enemy they'll get the drop on you, even if you hip fire while they're aiming they still have the advantage, un-aimed fire is pretty inaccurate (laser sight helps, but it'll also give away your position) the only time you shouldn't really bother with aiming is when you and the enemy are literally face to face, like "your barrel is in his chest" face to face at that point just fire as fast as you can and hope you were the one to react the fastest (it doesn't really happen allll that often, usually you will either see the enemy coming or he'll see you coming well before you're that close, so don't just run around looking for that opportunity).

Think it's impossible to use a "full clip" with any gun and not kill someone if you're actually hitting them.

Anyone on PC have issues receiving messages from friends through Battlelog's chat system?

Turn off Avast Antivirus. If this is the problem, it plagued me for ages. It blocks most of the Battlelog functionality like nobody's business.

For some reason my friend and I would always have one guy who'd take off running even if we put 6-7 sniper rounds into his chest/neck/head.

Had better luck with Thunderz and we went 1/1...of course I knew where every shot was by that time lol....oh and the M39 is only a 10 round mag online :/

Hmm. Check other firewalls/noscript etc? Seems to be the most common cause. Other than that, I don't know :(

I hit a brick wall on ribbon collecting.... 42/45. Missing M-com attacker, M-con defender, and squad wipe...

I finally found out an easier way to get an M-com defender one though.. C4 a station and hide... Hear arming beeps and detonate... I guess to get 1 defend to count... You have to catch them mid arming and/or within 2-3 feet of the M-com. So I should snag that one soon.

Squad wipe is going to probably be the hardest to get... I did wipe an entire squad if 4 ONCE on metro sqdm... But two times in one game??? Argh.....

3 M-com destroys in 1 game is rough too but might be do-able... I just think its hard to arm let alone destroy 1-2...

I hit service star 13 on my scar-h last night.. might try the g36c soon... Might be time to retire the scar soon but its SO freaking reliable. I just hate the 21 clip with 100~ ammo... Screws me so much on multiple targets.

G36c is solid, SCAR-H is better for distance engagements. I'd like to get the SG553 but lolcoop.

I'm finishing up service stars for Assault and Recon and then it's pretty much back to 24/7 Engineer. I have grown to be a fan of 320 spam. Reminds me of being overseas lol.

impressive. I still need like 13 ribbons. a few have to do with different guns and I have yet to play TDM or win a Rush.

The longest rifle headshot on recon was staged on Firestorm with the recon taking a chopper up to ceiling cap and then parachuting out and shooting at a friend in their spawn. He managed to get an 1860ish headshot.

To my knowledge the only squad I've managed to wipe all in one go was an extremely lucky RPG, I was aiming at something else (it was like my first or 2nd day of playing after release, so I can't really remember what) but I missed and the rocket hit a very clustered full squad and killed them all.

But you don't have to kill the entire squad yourself, unless they changed it from BETA, you just need to kill either the squad leader when he's the only one alive, or the last remaining member of the squad. I got it a couple of times in BETA after only killing one person (the squad leader).

Personally I like the SCAR over G36, but I use G36 because of it's larger magazine size. The G36 lacks the accuracy and stopping power that the SCAR has.

On the subject of lucky shots, near the end of a match on Tehran Highway I used the stationary AT launcher (the one right outside the RU base) and killed 2 people at the flag just below the US base.. I couldn't even see what I hit or where the rocket went (got destroy vehicle bonus for it though) I just fired at the general area of the flag and let it do it's thing. One of the people got very angry and said it was ***.. Kinda was.. Lol.

You only get Squad Wipe from just the SL if he's not in a Squad.

Do you have proof? Cause I don't even think my bullet travels that far before disappearing.
