Yes, I noticed myself hitting 0% HP, maybe the game has fractions of HP and it's really something like 0.6% HP or something.



In other news: Infantry Only servers have been the saving grace for me.

Never 0%, a few times 1%. I specialize in shotguns so I'm doing a lot of close action frag'ing and i've managed to escape with blood all over my screen at 1% a couple of times.

The times I've hit 0% in vehicles was only when I was driving in ones with a windshield, so maybe it shaved off 0.5% of the damage. XD

On a side note; I dislike how side arms don't share stats with its tactical/suppressed counter-part.

<.< I was destroying jeeps and mowing down random people on the battlefield and every time the enemy's bird went up it went right back down it tried to sneak up on me from behind but I saw a few bullets shoot past, swung around and locked on and blew him out of the sky. I was in the same bird from the beginning of the round to damn near the end, I had 5th highest score of the entire round.

Also a tip when you're in that situation where you know they're going to use flares, only fire one missile, force him to use his flares for only one missile, then smack him with the other, switch to guns and finish off the job. Works every time.

Whoot got the SV98. Took my longest headshot from 445 meters to 762 meters. Can't wait for the straight bolt!

Eh I'm thinking the sv only has a range of 775-800m. Me and a guy were both shooting at each other and I could literally see his bullets disappear from mid air before they got to me.

just picked up a pair of turtle beach x41's today, no more havin to turn the tv down when the wife goes to bed any more. now im gonna wake her up with random f@&* gdi bullshizy and the such lmao

On Canals and trying to solo cap a node (conquest) all is going well.. until the other team starts spawning there. get into an intense firefight killing 4 of them and I spin around because I don't like leaving my back unguarded for very long in a spawn location... sure enough some guy is trying to knife me. 3 shots into his skull dropping him, just as those other 4 respawn at that point.. kill them again and start to reload. Same guy comes racing around the corner of the building. stop mid-reload and pull my sidearm, empty half the clip into him.

The same 4 respawn -again- I kill 3 of them and the same guy who's been trying to knife me spawns right in front of me.. and takes a quick burst to the head. Map ends.

Next map. Kharg Island. I rush up the side to take office. Get into a firefight killing 2, mid reload that guy who's been trying to knife me pops out from the wall and bursts me down. while I'm on the ground dead he empties both pistol and rifle mags into my body while jumping up and down in triumph.

I respawn at gas station and B-line straight for Office. I find the guy mid way inbetween locations and quickly dispatch him. I know he's really pissed now. I make it to office just in time for him to spawn there, and die instantly.

Take out a random passerby while I'm capping office.. and he spawns out front of it.. and promptly dies. Office caps.

I make my way along the beach to whatever the other node up there is.. some sort of building. I get up to the building and while checking corners that little instinct kicks it screaming 'Turn around!' so I did.. and the guy is running straight at me trying to knife me.. burst to the head and he dies. Cusses me out in global chat and leaves the server.

I managed to fly a helicopter for 4 second before dive-bombing straight into the floor, I was so happy.

lol keep at it, you'll last longer and longer each time.

It took me about 2 days to get the hang of flying, but im a freaking pro at it now, only thing i hate is the long IR flare reload timer, sometimes i get owned if they manage two locks in quick succession, if not im golden.

Ugh this game is too epic for its own good :X

I'm assuming you guys play on PC? do you fly with mouse or arrow keys?

Not everyone here plays on PC. I think there's as many 360 users as PC.

As for flying, depends on what it is. I use my Dualshock 3 + MotionJoy to fly the planes, I use mouse and keyboard for the helis. I never could get the hang of using a joystick or controller for flying a heli.. The mouse and keyboard have always felt natural and intuitive for me, ever since BF2.

same here~ Wish the dice team didn't modify the tv guided missiles in BF2 =/

How are they modified?

when BF2 first launched you could basically have the missile do a complete 180 and fire behind the helicopter (if there was enough room, mind you buildings/trees etc) And firing the missile had a lot smoother control, so you can guide it into buildings and stuff easier. Now you fire and its not as maneuverable anymore (to help ease the seat swapping exploit)

tsk tsk, shame on you >.> then again I only did it in the F15/mig bomber when I did some high altitude tank killing runs :D

I only did it when I was using the heli to just take flags when the server was mostly empty and another chopper would pop up with a gunner and try to kill me. It was self defense!

Does anybody else who plays on 360 have issues trying to connect to a game using Quick match? It seems that 90% of the time I'm joining a server to be told to check my connection :/

Once I get into a game it's fine, aside from the odd little lag burst!

Also: Guns.. is it just me or do the primary weapons keep switching ? I set up the Scar on Engineer only to have to use the M4 for a game, THEN I got the SCAR ..D:

I love the tanks, I jumped in one with a random guy, he drove, I gunned.. We spent the entire match in it, both engineers, he'd repair whilst I shot or vice versa, took out like 6 tanks n 20+ infantry.. Sent him a message at the end (first time ever!) saying "*** YEAH!!!!!!" & got a friend request xD

PS. I suck at Helis & Jets.
PPS. in Operation Metro, Thanks for using Tactical lights whilst i'm laid with bipod setup as support.. Makes for an easy target! <3

I was so happy when I found out I'd get to fly the A10.. :< I don't like it. It's at a severe disadvantage because of the Stingers. I can handle the Stingers in the F18 and the Flanker, but not in the A10/Frogfoot. I can't make a ground run and make it back to safe altitude in time, even with the flares. I dive, pull back up and start ascending, get lock warning, then incoming warning, hit flares, then I get another lock warning, and another incoming warning.. All before I can climb out of their range.

found out that the second coop mission is a helicopter mission, no getting out, just using missiles to blow the crap out of everything, if any of yall need practice flying helicopters, just pop into that coop mission. youre essentially invincible unless you manage to land upside down.

also found out coop missions unlock extra guns, just got the rex and pretty close to unlocking the second gun, think its a FA2002

i just popped in with randoms, sure you get the dumbass that has no idea what to do but its still pretty fun.

This is exactly why I refrain from knifing people.

I love knifing people, I just don't look for the opportunity.. I wait for it to present itself. Every time I go looking for someone to slice, I end up dying.

However it is really satisfying to find out someone's about to knife you and then kill them while their pants are down. Like me and a teammate will be sniping, someone will run up and knife the teammate and I'll hear it, it takes a second but eventually I go "wait a second" and spin around really quick, just in time to pop him with the pistol.

I had a teammate kill someone who was in the middle of knifing me. It was awesome, I have it on fraps.

I was standing in a blown up building on Seine Crossing near East Bridge holding back an advance when all the sudden my camera spins around and I get into that little knifing cuscene where he's drawing his knife back. During the forward motion of his stab a teammate shot him and it freed me of the attack.

Lol, I actually did this; was on Damavand Peak and my teammate was standing on top of a rock next to the south entrance and I was sniping a little ways back on a building. The enemy ran up behind him and just as he was making the action to stab I scoped over and popped him in the side of the head.

Does.. this actually work? I haven't unlocked the MAV yet for recon but I am seriously tempted too now.
