I tend to prone 15 aldehyde then pop up in the same spot. But I never go in the second floor of buildings just asking to get knifed rocketed or hit by a T-90 round xD

I spot everything when I'm Recon, I mean that's my job <_< It's in the name. I try to pick a high vantage point so I can get a good view of everything, then I'll start spotting anything and everything near where my team is actively fighting.

A good Recon can really do more for his team as a spotter than just a sniper. I still shoot, and kill, just I mostly wait for times when there's an enemy out of line of sight for my team, I let them take care of the rest.

can't wait till I go home and play this game for real over thanksgiving. Being on my laptop kinda sucks. My key bindings won't work properly and flying a jet is horrible when you can't pop flares or shoot missiles . . . =/

You do know they're unlocks and not just immediately available like in BF2, right?

Yeah I know that. But what i'm saying is. when i'm flying~ I can't swap to anything else but the gun; unless they completely changed it

X is flares, 1 (top numbers, not numpad) is guns, 2 is heat seekers.

Is it me, or do the recon rifles have slower bullets then everyone else?

I'm 2 kills away from the straight bolt for the SV98.. will make life so much better.

I'll be switching it to F as soon as I play.

So can anyone explain how to run an aim bot on console. Cause i wanna cry when i get rocked by a sniper on ps3. Cause im so good only way to hit me is with a bot >.>

It's the scope. It just makes it look that way. When you're sniping, especially with the SV98 you have to think of the bullet as a work of art or something, take pride in the shot, don't just make potshots..

The SKS takes just as long to hit with or without a scope. I haven't tried to the SV98 without a scope, and I wouldn't, doing so would be asking for death. But I can confidently say that the Recon only rifles have no slower bullet travel than any other comparable rifle/weapon.

Also, I'd rather have Bipod than Straight-pull. I'm more of a precision shooter, as I said earlier, if I've got anything other than a headshot, I've missed. I don't plan to miss, so I'd rather take the absolute stability over the second chance.


I've never heard of anyone being able to aimbot a console, ever. It would be a very elite group. Especially being PS3 seeing as they just recently cracked the security on it.

Maybe I suck.. Maybe I'm making up excuses fkin campers... but I am not a fan of BF3 selling my copy for Ps3 putting all my eggs in the MW3 basket :(..

Battlefield is a different experience, if you're not having fun, then don't stick around just cuz everyone tells you it's the greatest thing ever.. I'm the same way with CoD, I gave quite a few of them a shot, the only one I ever really enjoyed was WaW (I love WWII shooters, I love the weapons) I still play it on occasion.

I've only gotten 58 kills with the SV98, of them, 34 were headshots.

I always go for the head unless the target is running. Then I try to go for center mass.

Having a hard time finding locations that give a wide enough field of view that has enough activity, otherwise I feel like I'm wasting a slot on the team when I could be on the frontlines as assault >.<

I love recons that use the flashlight on their rifle. It makes for a nice target.

If you mean that glint you see, that's their scope. If you're using a sniper rifle with anything more than the 4x scope, you're giving off that glint too.

As for just going for body shots, it's counter productive, wait til they go into what they think is cover and start poking their head out checking things out. You shoot them and don't kill them, then they know someone's watching and their guard is going to be up.

Finding a good spot to snipe from is half knowledge of the battlefield and the way it plays out, and half instinctual. You don't necessarily need to be way up high, just know the high traffic areas, in every map there's a few narrow corridors that have heavy traffic, first learn them (they're probably the very ones you run through when you're not a Recon) then find a place you can keep most of that area in clear view without being blatantly obvious. A figure standing out on a hill is obvious, just barely exposed at the corner of a building or proned down under a single bush is not.

If you want to snipe from a building window, don't just stand right in the window, step back quite a bit, the less of a silhouette you create, the better.
