I was able to reactivate and I have a token. I just have to re-enter my credit card information for some ungodly reason.

buuut at least another mod on the official forum updated us again to at least let us know that they know something is wrong, now we can only hope they have an autofix this otherwise i'll be a tad pissed if I have to call them up to reactivate something that should have been fine.

You'll be waiting a while, they most likely have to conduct an investigation as to what is causing the problem if there is(we can see there is as users.)
Issue a report, translate it to 4 languages slap it on POL, conduct the maintenance, run a dozen tests, when a certain number of tests were given conclusive evidence to being resolved x-times in a row, upload the new code, issue a report that the problem is gone and go back to work on other things.
Yea, they are making it like it's brain surgery which would also be complete by now. >.>

some banks glitch when pinging (withdrawing 1$ then redepositing the 1$) to see if the card is active, and as a result whatever attempted to ping when rejected gets shut down and this is the resulting consequence, but their systems also seem to take a further security step to lock the account completely and then errors unexpectedly and this happens.
Well, I decided to play something else this weekend since I couldn't log in... I go to log in now hoping it's fixed and my entire POL account was deactivated sometime between now and the last time I tried. Last time just my content IDs were deactivated. So I reactive my POL account (does this cost money??), and still no active content IDs.

Hopefully they are seeing it on their end and not just going off of user feedback, issue would get fixed a lot faster, however I believe it has something to do with certain banks, sending the accounts in a spiraling lock.
the sad thing is, when I reactivated Netflix last month, it had no issues with the $1 to test to see if it work theory, so I HIGHLY doubt that (at least with my bank) its them not recognizing SE. (Considering they took a $28 payment out last month, it should still be fine >.>)

Count me in. Got kicked last night around 10:30pm EST. UCS-5024 ever since. Wife, using the same debit card has no issues.

Ya know, I think that's the same damn thing they last posted of it just a new time (it was 22:00 PDT). I must say they are at least trying to keep up with giving us some sort of information even if it is the same thing. Kudos for a positive direction on that end at least. YOU CAN DO IT SE! I know it's hard to communicate but communication is the key! o.-
