I know by at least monday this should be fixed (if not .... /sigh) but i'm just hoping they stop *** around long enough to realize that ***is still broken today and at least try to do something rather then just sitting around doing nothing.
They probably already left for home again and won't "fix" it until the same time they just supposedly "fixed" the problem.
Well, I overbought a silver piece for some pup frame quests so I threw it on the AH. Least its sold in my absence lol. Nice to know someone is out there ^^

Yeah I everyone feels the same way, unfortunatly all we can do is wait at this time since they either seem to think that they've cleared up this issue or they've just decided not to do anything until monday.

Desperately trying to fix something, usually *** it up far worse than it already was.. If you go trying to fix stuff when you know there's a problem going on for everyone, you likely will *** something up that takes you hours to fix, so when everyone else is back to normal, you're still fixing everything.
I'd just leave things as they are.

I can confirm that the issue has been fixed. was just able to reactivate without the error codes!!!

I can confirm it has not been fixed, I got same error UCS5024 as before.
Well i can put down the steps i followed to get back in game. outside of that all i can say is i was USC-5024 since late friday night and now i am on game.
oh before i start i should note that all day yesterday i had no POL login message. But this morning I had the your account has been closed please reactivate now crap.
1:) Reactivate account using buttons provided
2:) Updated Credit card info even tho there was nothing wrong with it
3:) reactivated ID's from The Menu on the "play" screen
4:) Logged in to watch my char exit abyssea

Mine account is fine- Hubbys was getting the Error code
But we stopped trying to log in at 6pm cst last night. Just turned on the xbox and tried to log in @ 9:45am cst and instead of bringing up the No Content ID screen it has switched to a Payment issue...... I got my bank statement out and guess what.... we have 2 payments for FFXI last month. For mine and my hubby's accounts.
So i decide lets just try to reactivate and then check the account.
Well lucky for him he was able to get in update and reactivate but still saying they will charge him.
After all that went to the payments and yeah even says we paid on there. So we will be calling 2morrow. So to those who still are getting the error i hope your luck turns around for ya.

Originally i got an error to check my account, i was able to get it "checked" after that it required me to log in again, the 2nd time is when i got the UCS 5024 error... and have been getting it since yesterday morning 7am EET

This, and there seems no way around it to be able to circumvent it into going to the main screen where it seems it IS fixed.
They've only semi fixed it at this point, but for the people that are stuck on the logging in part seem pretty well screwed at the moment.
Seems like the people that could log on to POL yesterday, but not the game can reactivate and play. The many of us who couldn't log onto POL yesterday, still can't today.

Yep, they've only kinda fixed the issue, there is still some weird *** bug that's not routing us to the area we need to and instead is just popping back an error code.
It would be nice to at least have an option when logging in like "Do you want to reactivate at this time?" and if you say no it at least will let you get into the Main POL screen (god forbid we might want to message a friend or something :x) therefore that would allow us to access the POL menus and do everything we need to do.
But this is SE were talking about... likelihood of this happening? Low.
Just "reactivated" my account (i said before if i clicked log out it still continued to log me in, well i just tried reactivating, and it worked)
