Well I wasnt refering to abyssea when I made my post tbh I was thinking of more outside in legion or equivalent mobs.

I only asked the question since sometimes useful pieces get missed, yes I have heca ogiers and all the rest of it... just wanted to make sure there wasnt any potential in those legs because at first glance they didnt seem that bad to me.

They aren't that bad-- it's not like it was a dumb question, you just received an exaggerated reply. They're clearly better than AF2+2 or Avant if you need the acc, but Ogier's are a little better in that circumstance. So they aren't a bad choice to use temporarily if you're having trouble getting Ogier's (not the case for you).

For Legion and high tier VW and Odin2 and stuff you will need more ACC.

This is best, since it's taken into account you will always have warcry/bloodrage/champions/etc in Legion and VW, switch the gloves to Phorcys for Odin2 when warcry/bloodrage is down.

When building an ACC setup, and beeing unlucky with VW (/crysinacorner) what would be the replacements when you dont own Ogirpants?

Was thinking maybe the Meeble Cape with 15Acc 5Att 3DA? I wont have that tomorrow either, but atleast i could count the days to get one.. not like VW Chest which never give anything but Petrifacts, Logs and Ingots. Or maybe use dunno.. Af3+2 Hands? I think i also have the Abj from Morta but could only efford NQ (7STR 9 Acc 13 Att)

Swap out Hecatomb Mittens +1 for Avant Gauntlets +1, and Pyrosoul Ring for Mars's Ring. Leave everything else the same.

On a side note, I've seen wars around with a Adaman or Armada Hauberk, is it still good to use? I feel like there are better pieces of gear to be using than it, I imagine it's mainly use for the store TP or just the acc on it?

Noobish question, but can someone enlighten me here?

It's useful for the STP AND the acc AND the 3DA. In situations where accuracy isn't necessary you can replace with with builds centered around Valk Breastplates with 3TA.

Kaerin and Ejin both have Item Sets listed highlighting tp builds for war:

If you need serious Accuracy, you aren't counting the fact that you probably shouldn't be using Ukko's in Mul, and you either have Scherzo/EA or PD or something of the sorts so you don't have to turtle things:

TP:

Use Avant+1 Hands when Restraint is down. If you aren't in Legion then use Phos Belt/Ghillie+1 Earring.

Ukko's: (should probably be using Upheaval in Mul... or another weapon)

I have 3 ACC and 4% Crit on my Heca Mitts, so they aren't a terrible ACC piece.

Though I should say... nothing's absolutely definitive, some mobs you'll want less Accuracy in the TP set, and other mobs you may want a little bit more in the Ukko's set.

Hey, can you guys help a fellow WAR out, please? I'm slowly catching up on the past 2+ years I missed out and need some advices for my TP and WS sets.

Currently no chance of acquiring ebody, pbody and phorcys stuff.
Ukon is also out of the picture (for now) since I'm working on Almace right now. Not doing Legion.

TP set:

This setup maintains 26% haste while giving some STP but I have no idea how much I actually need for a x-hit build as /sam.
I'm actually thinking of getting Fazheluo R. Mail paired with Fazheluo Helm +1 since that would be my next best option I assume? How should my TP set look like then? Or is a Zelus Tiara (which I don't have) setup better?

Raging Rush:

Since someone told me RR would still beat Upheaval I didn't merit it (yet?), can someone give me a heads up on this matter?
Anyway, the only things I switched out are head, hands and belt.
Working on getting Moonshade with att+4 and tp bonus augments.
Got nhands and nfeet abjurations and bhaidate sitting in mh if that matters.

I don't have alot of gil to just buy anything so what would be the most beneficial upgrades in both sets? Which rare/ex items should I strife for?

Sorry, lots of questions :(
Thanks in advance!

Just adding my 2 cents, I'd personally go with an Ambuscade over Rajas in the TP set and let embrava fix the broken x-hit (for now). In the WS set, I'd kiss Rajas goodbye aswell, opting for an Ambuscade or Pyrosoul as Acc permits.

Speaking of, your WS set has like 20 less Acc than your TP set... Since the purpose of stacking so much Accuracy in the melee set is to get good Accuracy, I wouldn't advise using less than that amount of Acc in the WS set.

If i were you since you are unable to obtain NNI gear and Ebody etc, i would use (for TP Phase)the Ravagers +2 body/Hands/Legs/Feet and the Zelus Tiara. For your Belt, i would use Bullwhip belt, that will put you at capped haste (27% if my math is correct). Everything else in your set looks good.

For ws, look into either Ogier's Breaches or Avant Cruisses +1. For body your best bet is probably Grim Cuirass or Grim Cuirass +1 but Ares isnt bad for now. If your lacking some ACC on ur WS phase, look into Twilight Body. Also get Snow or Aqua belt instead of Sentry belt.

Rancorous Mantle/ Aqua or Snow Gorget would be the best setup for Back/Neck but your setup now works fine also.

I have Ukon so i cant say for sure, but Raging Rush is better than Upheaval inside Abyssea but to me, Upheaval seems to be better outside of Abyssea.

For Upheaval WS gear look for gear with VIT and STR and/or Attack. Since at 5/5 (Merited WSs are only good at 5/5) VIT is a 100% modifier, VIT plays a huge role in damage for upheaval so make sure to get a good amount of it.

Edit:

Or for your TP Phase you could use Goading belt and Blitz Ring, instead of Bullwhip belt + Tyrants ring. That will still be plenty of STP for you to hit ur Build and u will still have capped haste. really doesnt matter either way.

You can aim for this set for a start, its on Kaerins item sets (which were linked a few post above yours) its a commonly used WAR TP (Starter) Set. For a not ukon-weapon you can switch goading belt for bullwhip (or phasmida belt if you do VW) and use another ring like Mars (or just keep Tyrant when no money for mars atm) Itemsets which need haste on the handslot are not really recommented because you'll need to TP in Af3+2 hands when restraint is up for the bonus.

Like I said, sometimes you'll want more or less accuracy. Granted, it looks like you aren't counting Gorget/Belt, since with their 20 combined ACC that Ukko's set only has very slightly less ACC than the TP set once you factor in DEX.

In the TP set can always take out Mars' for Ambuscade, Fire Bomblet for Ravager's Orb and that kinda stuff.

As far as the Ukko's set can replace the Rajas (if STP permits) for a Mars' and the Ravager's Orb for a Fire Bomblet.

I was also thinking post-nerf sets when I made those... so yes, you can somewhat disregard hit-builds for now.

I'm not sure what sense it looks like I didn't count the Ele Gorget/Belt in, the WS itemset has exactly +67.5 Acc from gear+DEX, and the melee itemset has exactly +86 Acc from gear+DEX. That's 18.5 Acc short, or 9.25% hit rate.

Errr... I'm counting Fire Bomblet on the wrong set. What I get for waiting to the last minute to write a paper ;-;. Does still look like you're not counting 5 ACC from Heca+1 (I think, because I was coming up with 78.5 and 79 for Ukko's and TP, respectively).

Anyway, most of the time you're going to have Hunter's Roll and at least one Madrigal if you need that much accuracy, so everything in the TP set isn't absolutely necessary... there just aren't that many other slots to throw things in without taking too much ACC away.

Edit: ***, I don't know anymore... I'm going to sleep before I screw anything else up lololol.

Edit 2: I was also using Avant+1 hands instead of Ravager's +2 since they'll be on when Restraint's down and have the least ACC.

Edit 3: Okay, so if you use Fire Bomblet in the Ukko's set you end up getting 78.5 ACC, then if you use Avant+1 in the TP set you end up getting 85 ACC. Not that giant of a difference, and they'll end up being the same if I can find some -1 Gambieras. Also, I don't know why I care that much... this isn't really *** relevant to me as I use Ragnarok if I need this much ACC.

Edit 4: (I really need to stop) So it would look like this if you really really really really need this much ACC... Along with the fact that your first Ukko's hit is almost surely capped, you just shouldn't need this much, but whatever... here it is.

TP: 62 ACC + 25 DEX

Ukko's: 72 ACC + 5 DEX

Hi,

Below is my TP set.

I'm aware it's inadequate on the accuracy front. I'm doing ein for armadaberk, but Odin isn't putting out so far. Would Hachiryu Haramaki be a step up from Phorcys Korazin in the interim? Are there any other interim bodypieces i'm not thinking of?

Byrth had him swap from Phorcys>Emp+2body and Tyrants>Mars because for Ukon you should be using a 6hit. And iirc you only need phorcys head/rajas and.... 4 stp? to 6hit. So the emp+2 would help you swap out tyrants ring for a better ring like mars. And if you got an Armadaberk with Da+3 and stp4+, could swap tyrants for mars, too.

Edit: For your set above, depends on how much stp your berk has.

Can use bullwhip, too, that's what I use cause I like being haste cap, and I'm too cheap to get a Phos right now.
