Making hexa better
I think the discrepancy is that our gear options for Realmrazer are superior to those for Hexa Strike.
I can't really see it though; only thing I added to my set is Heka vs. Augur's Jaseran for a total of 4 mind.
Hyaline hat for realmrazer! Also moonshade for hexa, and probably smart grenade.

Ya, I use almost the same - Rubeus because I'm not going to get them and Marduk. I use moonshade for hexa. I guess my thing is I felt since the update is when I noticed an increase in the output.
You make it sound like you're using identical sets for the two WS o_o
(except for earring) Well they are close but they are on my item sets.
EDIT: I guess what I don’t really understand is why/how since I have only added Heka (4 mind addition) that realmrazer is suddenly epeen now is all. Nothing more nothing less. I definitely was not hitting those numbers before the update is all I’m saying. Reaching out to other whm's that use the weaponskill. really wish i could get Hyaline Hat im sure ill have soon tho

I still hold that Realmrazer's 100% mind mod and lack of dependence on critical hits makes WHM gear options for it much better than Hexa's STR20/MND20 and critical hit dependence in practice. I don't know the augments you're using on Selenian, but I would strongly recommend grabbing a Rancorous Mantle for Hexa at least. Sunbeam MAY come out ahead of it on Realm, but it's close either way. Most of all, I'd really really recommend trying to go for Rubeus pants. The drop isn't all that uncommon and they're the best thing melee WHM has ever seen o_O I severely doubt that they altered the fTP in the last update, it's more than likely confirmation bias, especially considering realmrazer should take the lead both in theory and for the "reality" reason I put forth. Ya i made a Kala thread just the other day. I didnt get one single tell lol.
I suspect Hexa has an attack penalty, but I don't have WHM leveled on the real server or reinstalled since getting my new computer. Anyone feel free to confirm~!

No one ever responded to my question on BG about mystic boon mods ;-; Whatever is on BGwiki is probably right. 30% STR/50% MND would make it an 80% mod WS, while essentially all the other WSs from NI are 60% or less. You can test it in about 5 minutes on WHM/THF against bunnies, though. Stack some STR and SA-WS, calculate the base damage of the weapon.
My guess is that whoever figured it out for wikia forgot fSTR. 30*.85 = 25.5% It was on Gobli, not wikia (generally more reliable), but I had sort of noticed that the 30% STR was mysteriously close to fSTR myself.
I'd test it myself, but I don't have it! :D lol, do Nyzul to 100 you noob! It'd take like 10 runs tops these days even without all the .dat mods and stuff people doubtlessly have applied for Neo NI.
I have a runic key now, I even unlocked PK! Don't you remember the 5 minutes I cared about PK in the DNC thread? That's why!

Shedir Manteel DEF:63 Accuracy+10 Attack+10 Magic Accuracy+5 "Magic Attack Bonus"+5 Haste+4% Potency of "Cure" effects received +3% WHM gets a respectable TP body now. Use that over Royal Redingote with Dual Wield and Double Attack?
Royal Redignote may pull ahead, but I can't personally sacrifice my ACP body.
You also need haste in the body slot to be able to afford things like Kthonios Mask and Rubeus pants. |
