Lately, I've been too tired to haul my butt to the guest bedroom or the couch, so my solution was to sleep with my head between two pillows. I started waking up to dreams of being restrained and realize that the damn cat was sleeping on the pillow atop my head!
He has been locked out of the bedroom for a month now, but I had to start sleeping with my arm over the pillow holding it tightly to my ear to counteract not only the BFs snoring but also the cat batting at the door knob and meowing for hours on end.
Uninterrupted sleep! I miss it!

most architects would hate me anyway, as I like things to be symmetrical, gf would probably hate me too if I had her try to give input as we'd argue, etc.

I'm like, make it simple, efficient... square even. (rectangles work, if they're symmetrical).
