It was on at an obscure time of day, and I didn't have cable. That's probably why I don't really like Anime today, either. The only Anime I watched until I was like 17 was Dragonball (not Dragonball Z, mind you) and I saw it once and thought it was dumb.

The first anime I remember seeing was Ronin Warriors. They played it on Fox, along with Sailor Moon. But I never watched Sailor Moon... I just remember it being part of the lineup. Dragonball (Z?) was on there too. Roughly around the time I'd get home from school.

I had two 19 year old girls after me (not forgetting about the 13-15 year olds) and, in hindsight, turning them down was a terrible idea (they were hot).

I wonder the same thing sometimes, then I realize I only had like one hot teacher in my entire lifetime, and she was a bit on the annoying side.
