I've come to realize, as a nation we love kids too much.

So, after work I dropped into Wal-Mart too pick up a few odds and ends, and of course I'm behind a woman and her child who have the basket overflowing.

As I wait patiently, the girl began throwing items back onto the checkout counter. After her mother told her to stop, she began playing with the card reader. The mother laughed and swatted her daughter's hand away a couple of times.

Her mother then took her out of the cart and demanded that the girl stay by her side. The girl immediately took off for the mini-fridges, and pulled a Dr. Pepper out. The mother obliged even though her kid's behavior was horrendous. The girl then pushed my cart out of the way so she could get to the candy. She grabbed a York Peppermint Pattie, bit into it, then her mother told her to put the open wrapper back.

Both me and the middle aged couple behind me all shot the mother the WTF look! My ***-switch had been thrown a couple of times today, but that was RIDICULOUS!!!

I'm gonna have to beg my sister to allow me to stay past freaking 11. I'm not gonna lose her freakin' key!

seriously they have no talent. the ***.

I mean they're good, no Jabbawakees(sp?) but none of the crews have been since them, they were just amazing. Poreotics were awesome too though!

I'm staying at my sister's place. My mother is house sitting and has the same sleep schedule as me. :3

Just remember you can't beat other peoples children..

AHHH!!! Why would you reward a three/four-year-old kid for bad behavior, and why would you give a three/four-year-old a Dr. Pepper in the first place?!?


Not a fan of hitting kids, but WTH?!? I can't say I wasn't waiting for it to happen.

I'm kidding of course. I'll just have to hope nothing fun happens late night.

My mother is a paranoid ***. I think she secretly wishes she could be Chris Hansen. It's really quite sad actually.

Did the cashier see this? O.o; I would of been like, "Hey, you're going to have to pay for that."

She became increasingly more annoyed through out the checkout process. Never said anything though.

I handed her the open wrapper. She rolled her eyes.

I feel sorry for the cashiers here. People are ridiculous. I frequently tell the cashiers that I don't envy them at all.
