In 2.0 there were event shops that sold items from the 1.x events for gil. Then squenix developed the cash shop and moved all previous event items into it.

I happen to have all the materials to make the XIV dream set. (What's your server Carrot?) But so do a LOT of people. The pieces are on the MB and by Dec 15 at the latest the prices have plummeted like a monty python sheep. Like from several hundered K gil to 20K or so.
I'm not currently playing 14, I was just curious once I got the email (I recall the infamous carby slippers) and just wanted to see how much was cash shopped... I appreciate it though! I quit 14 maybe 2 months after beta, the lockout game is real...

Finished 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim last night.

Took a bit to get going, and I have some nitpicks with the game, but if you want an intricate sci-fi story, it's a very strong recommend.

Go in as blind as you can; the twists are really well done.

I was debating picking this one up recently since I am a huge Vanillaware fan so..... perhaps I am now sold.
