So people with controllers can't move in FFXIV?
Kinda glad I have been working on Dark Souls lately. Sounds like a decent update though, aside from that.

As of today, I made it one year as a mod. So in about two hours those of you who made bets may exchange money.

They can move, there's just a sliiight lag when you turn for PC players with controllers. I don't think this affects PS3 and PS4
It's similar to how you'd stop when you turned in 1.0
Should be able to see it in this video around 3 minutes and also 5:20-5:30ish in the bar/market area
