Raider's Armlets +1
On wiki somebody or another has posted that these hands have hidden effect "Treasure Hunter". Has anybody ever tested this? Have any idea how to test this? I just recently obtained these and was thinking maybe it increased "additonal effect: Treasure Hunter increases to level X" so that it would up your effect more frequently when using Sneak Attack. Just some thoughts, feel free to give input on testing if you have done any or any relevant thoughts, thanks :)
Wow, whos pulling your leg. I highly doubt that. I'll defenatnly have to try it though just because... I will respond back with the results. lol
Probably just some noob that doesn't know how to count
Probably some noob who forgot THF got THIII at 90.

Cool, I wasn't about to believe that they got some extra TH, but this question remains...does it have any effect on increasing the effectiveness of how frequent you get the message "Treasure Hunter increases to level 5/6/7/etc" when using Sneak Attack? How could I/we test this?
Actually, they probably forgot about Treasure Hound kupo powers, since it stacks.

If you wanted to test, you -can- activate a TH proc upgrade on a kill-shot, So just murder some mobs with Sneak Attack with gloves on and off, However, please make note "damage" could be a factor in upgrade rate (The update notes, while usually crappily translated, said "Furthermore, the damage through sneak attack and trick attack have a chance to upgrade" or something to that accord, so equipping the gloves and, in turn, increasing your SA Damage, might skew it. would been nice if these hands had at least had soem haste on them..
A WS piece you can TP in? ***, this isn't 2004.

But thats no reason to use it. Asura.Backstab said: TH atma stacks. But thats no reason to use it. It stacks. I use it occasionally if I'm just dropping in to TH something for someone.
Asura.Backstab said: TH atma stacks. But thats no reason to use it. why would you want to get an initial TH effect at lv 7 when you can start at lv 3-6 and enjoy trying to bring it up to lv 7+ instead of trying to get it up to lv 10+? not that it changes much anyway, it's TH... now joke aside, procing the TH effect on att is random. odds increase when you use SA or TA but so far i could not see any difference when i SA with or w/o the AF3+1 gloves. dmg yes, th proc rate, no. So your saying I should report my experiences as some kind of glitch then?
Maybe they changed it at some point? Personally, I haven't used it in a couple weeks or so.
Guess I could give it another try since the droprate on this quest is such BS. Though TH will only help with 1/3 of it ie the actual droprate... the fish up rate and turn in is balls too.
I allways use TH atma on my THF mule during events, and it stacks for me <_>
Atma of dread stacks, but I only tested when scars was new. Maybe they ninja nerfed it.
I tested it shortly after newest expansion came out since I finally got to tank on thf. So far trying again only got 1 Th proc and it was 6... however earlier tonight I managed to get 6 for my first proc without it. And I've finally finished this shitty quest
Idk maybe it was a bug and they fixed it? Or maybe it makes it so you have to keep gear on until you get a proc? |
