Well it would be hard to prove it does easy to disprove... that being said for a full day my first proc was always just 4 or 5 depending on thief knife or not which would prove it didn't yet other people are saying they get everytime so idk I'm gunna go with some kind of mistake SE ninja fixed.

Either way generally not really worth using over better tanking or faster killing atmas

As I said, I allways get 6 as first proc, with TK and atma on.
That's proof enough for me? :P
But I gotta agree, idk if it's worth using over a DD atma, for a proper THF.
On my mule I usually just sa\ta for the occational proc anyways >_<

Well i guess cause shortly after the newest expansion ur thf wasnt lvl90? Anyways like i said TH atma stacks but its crap and i would never use it unless the thf is a mule or w/e and its only there for TH.
Hell i dont use any TH most of the time (except TH3 trait offcourse)

Atma of Dread does stack with TH, it's very easy to test. Set the atma but take off any TH+ gear and hit a few mobs, put TH gear on and hit a few more. You'll notice that with no extra gear a THF at 90 gets a base TH4 with the atma.

this. Haste is practically impossible not to cap with just your head, body, belt, and legs.

If by impossible to not cap you mean it is actually impossible to cap with just those peices than yes you are right.

Highest haste head zelus tiara +Highest haste body raider's vest +2 + Highest haste belt Twilight belt + Highest haste legs raider's culottes +2 = 25.

Well u need 26 haste to reach the cap but i guess u could use rapidus or tiracelw/e.
But tbh if u use the tiara over raiders bonnet +2... quit thf

I'd do both so you could actually use af3+2 head instead of lol zelus. Assuming your thf has that much af3+2

my point was that SE has made it easy to get near capped haste while still freeing up the hands and feet slots (intended for Assassin's Armlets and Raider's Poulaines). Also, in my opinion getting that last 1~3% haste isn't always worth sacrificing a gear slot. ie: Abyssea where stacking crit dmg+ will put out more damage since 95% of your hits will be critical.

Current TP set:

wasn't trying to be an *** or anything. just run into way~ too many people screaming "moar haste plz!" and wearing like 29% haste etc. >__>

It was a joke...?

Whoosh.

My point was that it wasn't a very good one since Thief never really had shared WS and TP pieces like Adaberk.

Well i noticed when the update first happened, my TH was getting an extra TH, possibly a glitch. With th3 + dagger/hands i would Sneak attack a mob and would increase TH to 7. only did it first few weeks though.

I never use TH atma. Procs on thf6 first time. have seen it get as high as 10. In Abby I use RR, haste (forget the name) and alpha/omega Atmas mostly

Tiercel Necklace, Brutal instead of Raider's Earring, Atheling is best TP mantle followed by Belenos', both of which should beat Cavaros if Attack uncapped.

like i said before... not a fan of tiercel neck because that extra 1% haste to me really isnt all that important versus what i could be/ am using.

Anything worth squeezing that extra TH from you can just hit it with Dead on then switch atma. It will stick. That's what I do for Rani (we don't brew so it is worth switching back after)

Attack8 isn't going to be achieving anywhere near as much as 1% Haste, 8 acc shouldn't be needed (and if it is, change mantle and make this swap) and both necks have sTP5.

8atk < 1 Haste

Sorry to necro but I didn't see this in the latest update notes, perhaps I'm just way behind the times :-/

When did they change the wording?

It was a hack theory because some people thought there was no way SE would ruin gear with such nice stats and there must be some trick to it.

Just to point out, the TH increase listed on wiki wasn't about a TH+ it was about increasing the chance to proc increased TH. I think that's bogus as well, or more likely wishful thinking as the note describing the claim states it increases the chance during SA... which already increases the chance of increase TH proc, as per SE's description...
