This didn't catch your attempt to cast the spell. It either wasn't sent to the game right or it didn't update or save before you grabbed it.

Are you casting from the menu or do you have a macro?

@.@ perhaps attempt again and see if the debug log gets anything else. I'm not sure why it's not working.

Sekundes and I found out what the issue was and resolved it, I ended up having an en spell rule that was applying to it.

any1 else having this problem.... was out in altepa the other day, and no matter how many i pulled, was only getting xp for the first 8 kills. would get chest drops / item drops from all the mobs tho.

example: pulled 12 dolls (sweepers?). slept and buffed up. used thunderbolt then Charged whiskers. this killed all 12 of the mobs, but my log only shows getting xp/curor for the first 8. on other attempts, if some mobs survived, i'd whirl of rage, and get xp from the survivors. but it seems i cant get more than 8 per killwave.

Was updated to only bring EXP in for the first 8 kills like 3 years ago. Where you been?

My solution to this was to whirl while pulling to have 3 tiers of HP on the mobs. I also used B. Tycoon and some other conal magic.

Alternative is to pull so many and wipe them instantly that EXP chests 'make up' what you're missing in straight kills.

You can only get xp/cruor from a max of 8 mobs that die with the same spell/ws, i guess its to prevent excesive gains from aoe farming.
If you really want to get more than the first 8 you could BA whisker first and then just finish a few with breath spells, since if you position well they won't hit all, and finish the rest with wor or something else.

What's the best way to get a good exp gain then if you can only get the exp off 8 mobs, all my whiskers usually one shot :(

Any good whisker build will one shot the majority of mobs, the point is to nerf your build a little so it leaves the mobs at low % to finish them with a breath or something.
In my set up usually just have to swap out ultimate for MM atma and the mayority of mobs stay at less than 10% with a whisker, so i dont have to touch gear at all, depending on targets may need more tweaks.

Isn't the 8 mobs only thing just a display limitation, i.e., you actually get the XP, it just doesn't show up in the log?

I was pretty sure they fixed that in the update where they addressed "The issue where sudden accumulations of a large quantity of experience points would sometimes reduce the actual amount of experience points earned."

tl;dr I want to see a source/testing. I couldn't find anything.

And since exp slowly increases by +1 (assuming golden light capped), typically, from each consecutive fallen mob; it is always best to try and pull 8+ at a time if you are maxing out characters who are leeching...

This is what I'm currently using, I know I need to upgrade Thunder Ring and Belt. I seem to capped out at about 6200-7000 with Ultimate, Baying moon, and Lion.

Get an NQ Ocelomeh Headpiece and change grip from Thunder Strap to like Spear Strap(Ideal) or one of the other +DEX grips(Gatta+1 is also +3 DEX but goes for 100k+) I myself need spear strap but they're rarely on AH so I use Wizzan till spear pops.

Memento Mori>Enervation in most cases. Enervation can be resisted or wear off prematurely. It's also less MP, less Blue Points, and gives INT+1. 20MAB> -8MDef I think too.

I think 2xDEX rings > Dex+Strendu when BA is up. When BA is down, pretty sure Strendu>Thundersoul, but could be wrong. Finally, ditch Baying Moon and get people to help you get Blinding Horn from Karkadann, his pops arent hard, and he's not difficult to kill.

partly my fault lol. my first question was about new staff and i thought Sehachan's question was about synth mats for it, not about Ocel. lol.

asked Ophannus "What?" 'cos i didn't understand why he is explaining this after my question about new staff lol.

huge misunderstanding ;)
