Spawned by trading a Darksteel Ore to the ??? that moves every 5 seconds between various places at I-6, I-7, H-6, H-7 on the second map from the Cape Teriggan entrance.
The ??? respawns 15 minutes after the NM is killed.
Typically drops 2-3 items, Silver Ore x3 being the most common drop. May drop 4 items.
Killable by: 10 characters level 65; 4 characters level 70; See also: Testimonials.
Has a significant Auto-Regen (about 50HP/3 seconds).
Can cast the following Black Magic spells: Stone IV, Stonega III, Rasp, Quake, Bind and Stoneskin
Fairly easy solo as 75 drg/blu, bring echo drops and a couple yag drinks incase it decides to steal mp and silence you. Also if it tries to open with stone IV super jump it, saves taking 900+ dmg. GL folks.
Very easy solo on MNK/DNC, Might not even put you in the yellow.
Can drop another darksteel ore (trigger) or drop adaman ores, silver ore, or the phantom tathlum if you are lucky :) Not such a bad drop rate. Gotten about 2 tathlums every 5 kills.
t takes me 15-30 min to solo the NM as thf/nin with full eva set up,need bloody,blind,acid bolts and echo drops.might wanna bring a friend that can erase because attack down makes the fight feel endless
I understand that crafters like to buy these cheaper, as it helps reduce the impact when either failing or only NQing a synth, but the ppl working just as hard farming these deserve a decent profit too. Its just a pity they screw themselves over undercutting so much for the faster sale.
