Fallout Vegas

This one is 10000x worse then any fallout 3 expansion, and heres a list why:

1. They take your guns away and you dont get them back til its over.
2. There is literally only one enemy type in the entire thing, excluding bosses.
3. You have to wear this collar the entire time, that will kill you if you do anything wrong.
4. They made it so speakers make your collar go off if you get near them, and there is more speakers then enemies.
5. Its supposed to be about a casino. You spend 4 hours in a dirty mexican village, and 15 minutes in a casino.
6. The only reward is a few gold bars worth 10k caps each. Who needs caps still?
7. There were parts of town that were shrouded in poisonous cloud, and it would take your HP away. But you have to go through.
8. They take your *** guns away.

The only good thing it had going was that it had a pretty cool story.

Sounds worse than all the FO3 DLC's combined.

I think the Fallout team (whether or not it's the same team) should just give up on DLC.. It's like a curse.

I was actually quite shocked and saddened they jumped into DLC so fast. I mean I like a bit of DLC (Again a bit, the storyline should absolutely be completed with the main game) but only a while after. It should re-pique your interest in a game, not be an integral part.

Oh its not an integral part! You can never go back either!

I'm now somewhat glad that it was 360 exclusive so that I didn't have to waste my money on it. I can make an add-on scenario better than this from the sounds of it.

Looks like I'll be pirating the DLC then lol.

Its not even worth the hard drive space or time taken to play it.

There is a new fallout expansion out today.

I am so scared to buy it. After that dead money expansion...im scared. If its even half as bad as dead money, its not worth it.

Honest Hearts is not bad. The story is decent, but Graham is a big let down. All the stories you hear about him from people make him seem like the ultimate bad ***, and when you meet him its like .... wth.

The best thing is you get to keep your inventory!!! although your only allowed 75 pounds or 100 (strong back perk) to take with you. Hell better then running through a cloud covered village with a cosmic knife >.>

At least you can return to Zion w/e you want. the .45 pistol and .45 machine gun are pretty cool, also you can get the NCR Desert Ranger Combat Armor same stats as the regular one only no more NCR affiliation so there's a plus! I like it was decent still no Point Lookout or Mothership Zeta Maybe Old World Blues and Lonesome Road will up it a notch.

Any word on if they did anything to alleviate some of the issues with the constant crashing on the PS3? I really enjoyed playing this game when I first got it and got a considerable ways in when I started to get a lot of crashes. I read that it had to do with carrying blue caps but I turned them all in as was the "official" fix and still crash about every 10-15 minutes into playing ><

I know they released a patch i wanna say 4 weeks ago maybe that fixed a lot of the issues people were experiencing. So far the only thing that been bothering me is sometimes in Zion the game will randomly freeze for no reason, has done this a few time but other then that pi haven't had any problems.

Bethesda DLCs are rarely worth buying before they come out as a 5-for-1 package tbh.

Id gladly pay 10 bucks for all 5 fallout 3 expansions. every single one was good.

I beg to differ. Point Lookout (my favorite by far), The Pitt, and Broken Steel were worth $10, Operation: Anchorage and Mothership Zeta were far too short and far too linear to be worth a full 10.

Anchorage gave the single best item in the game, and mothership zeta was awesome.

I don't like paying $10 for a single item.

I dont mind it.
