We've been making a habit of farming lights/time extensions before going after NMs. Mostly because my boyfriend used to solo/duo/lowman everything and he constantly has no stones now, lol. It's not that hard to lowman time either, just a suggestion.

prettymuch only go in with my ls for now :( brooder and michlentueal w/e wasted so many of my stones 0/26 brooder on feet and I seriously died 15 times trying to solo the corse but got hands 1/1 when i finally got it.. just more fun to spend a couple hours in there with ls anyways imo

Apparently we have a shortage of SAMs and BLMs in our Dynamis LS (lawl, who still does Dyna?!) I have both BLM and SAM leveled just because of my dedication to my fellow Dyna peeps. We do have enough RDMs though. My dad is even an RDM. We have a couple or more of our LS members that also have both jobs leveled but they hardly ever come as those jobs (myself included) and I would like to see more players who main on SAM and BLM all the time.

When I first read the question of the original OP my mind did not wander off to my (limited) past experiences of Abyssea Exp parties. Exp parties for me are really only a means to an end. Considering you won't normally face NMs and other end-game stuff with a group of random exp pt members. You do that from Linkshells, Statics, and specifically crafted parties/alliances (where the leader isn't just some brain-dead noob shouting in Whitegate for any warm body they can get their hands on although sometimes that does accidentally work.)

In order of rarity:

BLM
SAM

In order of need:
BLM
SAM
BRD

1. BRD
2. COR
3. RDM

Then your RDM sucks.

Also wtf at BLM being good at exp pts? Christ ***, do not waste slots on BLMs. Well equipped DD will be infinitely better. For that matter, Abyssea is like 10% exp pts, 90% everything else that truly matters. (ok, I'm exaggerating, but my point stands)

There's a trick to very, VERY quickly capping lights at the start of an experience alliance that eliminates the need for BLM to be honest. Can use RDM to do it, and gain a job that can also magic DD when you go to farm NMs as well as add a ton more utility than a BLM will ever have (Outside Stun, really how often do you need Stuns in Abyssea though...). As well as keep more slots open for melee DD. I don't know why some people are so crazy about BLM in Abyssea. No, I will not elaborate as for some reason a lot of people don't know about it on Phoenix and I enjoy open camps.

I like how only 1 person put SMN in their list considering how amazing a SMN can be for almost any situation.

5. Now has the ability to almost never run out of MP
