Make sure your credit card will be declined for when you get billed for Playonline. It'll change your LM-# message to one saying declined credit card or whatever.., when you pay up you can get back in. Although it goes without saying, you can never call a GM again or get a GM called on you. If you were kicked off the game while in Mordion Gaol, will not work either for obvious reasons. Enjoy.
How long do you think it will take for people to report this to Customer service to keep the banned people from coming back.

I guess some people can't accept their fate. What a shame.
Oh, I'm not banned, just giving the people who are banned one last chance...so they can get banned again by people blowing the whistle on them.
Yeah, this really would only get them back on the game for about 15 min. There are prob at least 10 to 15 people in rival shells that seriously disliked each of these people enough to report them to a GM within minutes of them logging back on.
Heh I think being able to play with a price on your head and living in exile would be amusing. I'd love to see how they act upon logging back in after having a ban branded on their forehead.
That's not the issue. The problem is, that many of the players are holding 300 mil plus in gear and gil. Some much much more than that. If they are able to log on, even for just a couple min before getting bansticked again, they could move alot of that gear/gil onto other characters and start again. Granted getting so much back that they lost would be a massive undertaking, but, its much easier to do that when you have half a billion gil head start.
They better hope they have fast acting loyal subjects since you can only deliver 1m gil at a time per person via delivery.

Yeah, its not that difficult. Most have more than one account to move stuff between. Even if you were to actually see someone log on right before your eyes, it would take maybe an hour or so for a GM to even answer your call. Plenty of time for them to do w/e. However, it is entirely possible that the GM could check the logs and just ban the account that they traded to. Thats if someone see's them log on and is able to report to a GM.
Looks like SE has as much problems fixing up their whole POL client software as they do within FFXI's own mechanics. I hope they clean it up alot better.
This "bug" is no longer active. Fixed about 2 years ago as far as I remember.

Because it's absolutely wonderful to annoy and pester people who think they're the centre of the universe, like the majority of the people who were banned did.

ok, woooo, i got a question for ya. From looking at your profile it seems you have a fair amout of experience with big badies. My shell will be doing some Sarameya (sp) soon, and i'll be co tanking on sam/war along with a pld/rdm. Should i go with a maxed -50% magic damage setup or a mediocre to decent fire build to survive its chainspell?

Yeah I was planning on playing BST sometime so farming for skins would be cake. Cooking appeals to me too, I like the idea of making my favorite food when none is available. But why is Alchemy so lol? I wanna make my own bullets ya know ; ;
Cooking is a pain craft to do cause it requires sooooo much inventory space!
It's nice for a mule but I've heard of Cooks at 100 complaining about how much space it takes when they sit down to craft.
