Pascal's wager simply implies that when there are possible benefits from doing something and there is no harm in doing it, then one should do it, just in case. This was applied to the belief in god, but it seems to fit here as well.
Pascal's wager actually had a more negative spin on it, as it had more to do with the fact that if one did not practice religion one could suffer harsh punishments in the afterlife. It seems fitting here, though, to express Pascal's wager in its positive sense, since it's just a video game.
