9 years, 5 retirements and 3 attempts to build, I've finally accomplished my ultimate goal in ffxi! There are many thanks to be said throughout the years, and while the importance of this has lost it's luster for it's now a dime-a-dozen achievement, I consider this more of a sentimental trophy dedicated for the many who have come and gone on this long journey of mine. Let us first summarize and give thanks to Dienamis linkshell, my first Dynamis LS who got the Attestation of Vigor and Necropsyche for me back in 2005. I would also like to thank Grand Design for helping me obtain the Tenebrous Fragment in 2009. Ultimately, there are too many people to name but this relic was built and is not solely mine for it's entirety also belongs to one of if not my best in-game / become RL brother, Seshu. Since the Dynamis Updates in 2010, we have gone inside farming currency for me and though we retired in Feb 2012, we came back 9 months later and put in 2 months more of work to finish HIS and MY relic. Again, my heart and gratitude go out to all who have been there for me during this journey and though I may not specify each one, you know who you all are! Much love and yes, I troll'd and muled back my 75 gear just for the screenshot! Attempted Arch Odin (which is just named "Odin" like the original) a few days ago. The fight is much tougher but pretty fun. It has been almost 7 years since I started working on Kenkonken, therefore I have way too many people to thank but I'll give it a good shot. Thanks to darkmagi and shadowkatze for helping with my last assault, Thanks to Amolak and snakeplisken for holding alex(a lot) for me, Thanks to Manuelbravo for many many selfless salvage runs(before the entry restrictions changed), Very VERY VERY special thanks to Windblade and Dastrian for: 1. putting up with my non-stop talking about salvage/kenkonken, 2. helping me whenever I need, 3. Donating money/currency they were saving for their relics(time to return the favor!). A 5+ year journey draws to a close. 16/16 relics completed 8/18/2014. Turned in my first coins toward Mandau almost 6 years ago. Back then I never though I would even complete the dagger. Thank you so much to everyone who sold me cheap currency along the way, helped farm dynamis, or gave me loans so I could turn them in early! The cloak on her makes it look a bit more like a mage than a RNG though. Story time! Way back when I returned to FFXI in 2006 or 2007, I came back solely to level Monk to 75. As Relics were made easier to obtain, I eschewed Monk despite it being my main thanks to acquiring Verethragna. The years passed, I worked hard to get other items, but Monk remained my primary job. With the end of Vana'diel coming, I decided that I could not leave without getting this task accomplished, even though Relics really aren't worth much these days. Story time! Way back when I returned to FFXI in 2006 or 2007, I came back solely to level Monk to 75. As Relics were made easier to obtain, I eschewed Monk despite it being my main thanks to acquiring Verethragna. The years passed, I worked hard to get other items, but Monk remained my primary job. For those of you looking to score some easy Dragon Bloods/Hearts, consider bringing Nanaa to Zi'Tah and cranking up your fast cast/haste to resummon her more frequently. Her success rate is much higher than players. Alternate despoil item is Dragon Blood. Thanks to my best friend Enjoisippi for helping me along the way and being such a good help in game and irl. Thank you Okita for showing me the ways of mythic making. Thank you Sephrin for supplying me with quite a bit of Alexandrite when I first made this amazing sword last year. And lastely thank you Bestienmeister for helping me though Salvage, Einherjar, and Nyzul Isle (RIP you are missed buddy) wish we could have finished your mythic before you left us. And to my friends who don't play anymore but we had great times together Kumiho, Jonesin, Oxblood. This has been an amazing 5 years of my life.
