Massive thanks to Zaphir and Malekith for the loans! Thank you to my awesome fiance, Ovr, for not getting mad when I uh borrowed 10m to finish my 70 bynes lol. A big fu to Stryger for not doing a better job at convincing me relic making is the devil, but a bigger thanks to him for some gil and currency! Thanks to Yomisha for the motivation to crank this out in the end! Another thank you to Dourdon for the team ups on farms and always taking shells in trade for Os!And finally a huge thanks to everyone in PurpleNurple that helped me in collecting currencies. Story time! Way back when I returned to FFXI in 2006 or 2007, I came back solely to level Monk to 75. As Relics were made easier to obtain, I eschewed Monk despite it being my main thanks to acquiring Verethragna. The years passed, I worked hard to get other items, but Monk remained my primary job. With the end of Vana'diel coming, I decided that I could not leave without getting this task accomplished, even though Relics really aren't worth much these days. Story time! Way back when I returned to FFXI in 2006 or 2007, I came back solely to level Monk to 75. Reminiscing. I remember back in 05, I needed help with the Tower fight for AF Head, but no one in my LS was strong enough. I talked to a random guy about it, and soon enough he was taking me up the tower with a six-man party. I can't remember his name, but after a hard fought battle I was happy to finally complete the set. Fast forward to 08, I had been doing Dynamis, and (after two dc's as it dropped in the pool!) got the Abyss head from Xarcabard. I was happy again, and I felt a need to return to the tower, chill, and take a screenshot. I started using ffxiah.com in 2010, and my profile picture has been the one in the top right ever since. Eight years later, I finally updated the pic. I sit in the tower as we speak, remembering all the times anyone thanked me for playing the job well. Remembering all the times I gave advice to new DRKs, and the times when better DRKs told me off for doing it wrong. Yes, this is another DRK screenshot, but it's also a story, one I will continue for the love of the job. I get emotional sometimes, (and I'm a writer), so I guess DRK suits me in that way . Now I just need to miss an Insurgency entirely and everything will be right with the world. The End.Reminiscing.
