Have you used your recovery option?

Also, I don't believe that's true that you can't recover rare/ex items. If you drop your Idris you can pay 10M to get it back. But outside of that, I'd be shocked to find a GM unwilling to get the REMA back provided you validate your credentials, and so on.

I have gotten it back but only a lv 90 version the first GM i spoke to said it wasnt possible but then another GM sent me a tell asking for date time etc, so i have gotten it back just not in the form it was in
