@Tidis: Ochain does not have a hidden shield skill rating. it is instead a unique shield (Size 6) which has different properties. the testing done by Martel was well documented both on here as well as cross posted to Blue Gartr. it's the reason that no other shield can touch Ochain's block rate short of Priwen and only when Reprisal is up. I have never seen anything definitive that showed a hidden skill rating to Ochain, from SE or otherwise.

Even if they did wouldn't 242 be OP? I seem to recall SE revealed hidden shield skill levels for shields and Ochain was at 300, 242 would be way too high for Aegis.

Thing is, the skill isn't even the craziest part. The 40 extra defense is, because of how defense on shields contributes to block absorption.

242 is way too much, but Aegis really does need SOME shield skill on it at this point. 80 DEF is probably also a bit high... 50-55 would be more reasonable.

Aegis is already broken enough why would they aDD that. If you need help tanking with Aegis you shouldn't be playing pld lol
