i remember a jp drk around lvl 60ish *believe that was the cap at the time* on the xbox beta server taking on these guys while i and a few of my friends stayed far enough inside to avoid aggro but close enough to keep opening the door to watch this guy show us what boss really meant....

I wish SE still did things like this, I remember when I started playing Final Fantasy XI. I was amazed that there were boats and airships at all, but the first time I saw pirates attack, when I saw my friend who introduced me to the game fighting the invaders attacking our ship on the way to some place he called 'the dunes', it really excited me.

I wish we had more cool and interesting things like this again, even if nowadays it isn't as impressive as it once was, it was always one of my favorite things that really got me interested in the world we know as Vana'Diel.
