I have no misconceptions about what a paladin does these days. The simple fact of the matter is that I fell in love with the paladin job when I started playing in 2006. I knew from my very first Dunes party that I wanted to tank (if you look at my jobs I also have nin and mnk leveled) and when I discovered PLD and saw the AF/Relic I knew I wanted it. I always believed that an Aegis was out of my reach but then SE turned dynamis into a more casual event for those of us who enjoy that play style while still getting ahead.

You may not understand this concept of having a passion for a job. Talk to any of us old day plds, bsts or pups or whatever job is or was at one stage LOL'd at and they will tell you its nothing to do with epeen numbers or whatever the current trends are.

I have absolutely no problem low manning anything, and in fact I prefer to work with my small LS of friends that help each other than the elitist hardcore groups.

i know what you mean Sam has been my Main job since 2004 and ive seen it go through many phases its now a Bandwagon job again but my passion for the job has never changed through thick and thin
