:/ honestly I don't see why people get so upset, I low man and I welcome ruby because ruby bring silvery lights :P those are nice cause when we cleave and are killing 20-25mobs at once and they all give 100-150 cruor a kill, pays off quick on top of the 1k cruor boxes.

@Karbuncle, the other issue with ruby is if you're farming gold chests. If all your lights are capped, you have a total chest drop rate of ~95%, which is split between blue/gold/red chests with ~32% chance of each dropping per kill. If you cap everything but red, your blue and gold drop rates increase to ~47% per mob.

Or, if you split your party up for light farming, you can have one person aoe farming that has only amber and pearl capped, for max gold chests, while you leave time farming to others.

This is easiest done using magical aoe ws kill, or fell cleave on mobs that don't drop ruby (I assume fell cleave gives ruby?) or magical aoe mobs that don't drop azure, which, sadly, aren't as common.

Ruby light is only good later in the party when Time need not be an issue. In early stages of a party, Ruby light could be the end of it.

I know GOOD parties can do it either way, But to be frank whens the last time you joined a Decent Alliance exp party? I had one the other day that wiped to Deelgeed for christ sake. Point being Pick-Up Alliances really die quickly if too much ruby is accumulated early on.

Of course Ruby doesn't hurt when you're Cleaving a bunch of mobs, but in your typical idiot-filled Exp Alliance its not a good idea to get ruby until you're at 200+ Minutes...

Theres two sides to every coin, and unfortunately "Idiot filled alliance exp" is the bigger lopsided side of the coin, which is where all the hate comes from.

I personally love Silver Light, though Cruor from Normal mobs caps at about 108 unless they're a Cruor-Bonus family ;o
