Stout Servant was a Job Trait given to BSTs last update.

It Reduced Damage taken by about 5% for Pets.

+1 is either another +1% or +5% (base trait) for a total of +6/+10%

Yeah as Karb mentioned, it's a Job Ability implemented to BST and recently, PUP and SMN also.

Reducing the amount of damage your pet takes by approximately 5%, I will be testing these legs over the next few days to try and figure out what it does to the trait, whether it be a 1~5% decrease in damage.
