It might be R/Ex, but you can still sell it. You just need to shout and hope someone accepts however much you're selling it for(by the time 5minutes are up), have them join the PT, and lot on it.
Ofcourse you collect the gil from them, but it -is- possible to sell ??? items...

Remember, ??? items go into the lotting pool once they are appraised.

It was a V-bow drop from Nyzul. My friend and I regularly call the appraisal just for fun and have gone about 50/50 over last year or so on getting then right. This one just happened to drop the day I had re-geared my RNG to finish it

I've personally seen 3 of these out of 3 ??? bows. Always appraised at the Qiqirn in Aht Urgan, instead of the fatshit hume who probably sells the real bow for twinkees or some such. All 3 went to RNG0: "I might level it later"... Lesson, don't be nice and pass...
