I don't know about anyone other RDMs out there, but this is pretty much how my 16 defeats were like. Massive spam of Asuran Fists. Just thought I'd show this once since I got 4x Asuran Fist'd in a spam of about 12 seconds or something like that...

This is probably a really old picture and you might not even see this comment but yes, this is how EVERY Fight with Maat went for me as well, I nearly quit the game because he would do nothing but spam Asuran. Eventually I did win and have moved on with my game-life, lol. But jesus, compared to every other Maat this one is just incomparably harder. SE really needs to rethink their dev-Team for Eorza.

That message he did in the chatlog means you took too long. He goes into Asuran spamming mode after he says that, on any job. You just needed to speed it up.

Tbh Maat is easy, get a INT boost potion, Vile Elixir, Vile Elixir+1, Tavnazian taco. After that enter naked, equip everything when you enter, buff up, rest to full TAKE YOUR TIME, after you're full MP you'll run up to Maat and chainspell spam Aero III till you run out of MP, then use the +1 elixir, also recast any buffs as he's hitting you, keep spamming the Aero III, use the NQ elixir and spam till you have 80 MP left, then sleep nuke the last 2-3 nukes.
