Weapons To Keep An Eye On
Excalibur - R15 ~ Also allows Fusion for multi step.
Mandau - R15 ~ Red Mages best piercing option.
Murgleis - R15 ~ Mega Magic Accuracy. AM3 = multi step easy.
Almace - R15~ CDC Spam.
Sequence - Savage Blade option and decent for multi stepping.
Crocea Mors - Enspell Behemoth / Sanguine Blade & Seraph Blade are amazing.
Tauret - Evisceration does ok, mostly for Aeolian Edge cleaving.
Naegling - This is better than Sequence for Savage Blade. Especially with Thibron off hand if acc is a non issue.
ternion dagger +1 - Extremely low delay and MA and Subtle Blow to boot.
Thibron - Off hand use only [TP bonus +1000]
Ullr - Allows you to make Fusion without Excalibur. Also nice magic accuracy.
Karambit - Asuran Fists...?
Maxentius - Black Halo, best blunt option.
Colada - Should have at least one of these with +4 Enhancing Duration. Additional one can have refresh +2 for idle.
Grioavolr - Capable nuking option given the right augments. Good for Enfeebling. Capable of getting MND, enfeebling skill+, and magic accuracy.
Daybreak - Highest MND available on a weapon, Also pushes your light elemental WS when used in conjunction with Crocea Mors thanks to the elemental affinity it provides.
kraken club - Accuracy not an issue? It's fun to play with, but is losing its luster the more TA we get from Temper II.
marin staff +1 - Best wind elemental Nuke option, decent contender for enfeebling.
Contemplator +1 - Highest enfeebling skill weapon when augmented. Very high magic accuracy option but inferior to a R15 Murgleis in terms of pure magic accuracy. Good MND+ for potency.
Sakpata's sword - Phalanx+5, DT-10, high acc & attck, FC+10 you don't really need / Refresh +3 (when augmented). All around awesome.
Bunzi's rod - Extremely good for nuking when augmented paired with Ammurapi Shield. Sub nin or dnc off hand maxentius for bursts.
Mpaca's staff - Also very good for nuking, does lag behind the Bunzi's Rod.
Gleti's knife - Very good off hand for all physical oriented WS. Like the Sakpata's Sword ships with healthy amounts of acc and attack and even some Subtle Blow II when augmented.
Gear Sets
***I avoid Oseem where I can. That said there is plenty of augments obtainable from Oseem that are usable and in some cases better than other options.
***All Augmentable Items via UNM, SU5, REMA, etc... Assumes max RANK.
***All values shown assumes Lv. 99 / 2100 JP Master / M.Lv. 50 for things such as Skill totals and FC requirements etc...

The most beautiful and frustrating thing about this game is that everything is situational. There's a hundred different ways to do just about everything this game has to offer. Sets shown are purely base lines of which can be added onto, chasing the 1% improvement or niche situation expansion upon a certain spell or ability is what end game boils down to in the end, everything from DT cure sets to Subtle Blow WS sets. One of these days I'll go more in depth for all the niche odds and ends that can prove useful for certain content.
**With the introduction of TVR rings your choice of ring may have minor or major impacts on your sets. I personally picked the Cornelia's Ring. Choose wisely?

Dia III is a RDM staple so there's no real reason to not push its DoT effect. All +enfeebling magic effect gear boosts the DoT.
Unsure if Daybreak actually has any meaningful effect towards Dia but it's there so why not?
