`JOB ABILITY & COMMAND

Job Ability


Astral Flow -- A Summoner's 1 Hour Ability: While active, Avatar Perpetuation Cost (the MP drain a Summoner normally incurs every 3 seconds whenever he/she has an avatar out) is reduced to zero for all summoned avatars and spirits.
While active, each avatar gains the ability to perform their special Blood Pacts. They can be found under the Blood Pact: Rage category. More details on Avatars Parts.

In order to use the above Blood Pacts (except Perfect Defense and Zantetsuken), the user must have MP = (current job level * 2). For example, a level 50 Summoner must have at least 100 MP available. If the summoner has insufficient MP, the Blood Pact command may be issued and the avatar will ready the attack, but it will not execute.


Equipment Description
Summoner's Horn +2 Extends Astral Flow effect by 30 seconds.
Glyphic Horn Extends Astral Flow effect by 30 seconds.
Glyphic Horn +1 Extends Astral Flow effect by 30 seconds.



Elemental Siphon -- Drains MP from your summoned spirit.The amount recovered from this ability varies with the summoner's summoning magic skill (in addition to any gear that adds to the skill), weather of the area, and the day of the week. Optimal results seem to be obtained with capped summoning skill and matching the summoned spirit with the elemental day and/or weather present in zone.

The formula for MP recovery is (Summoning Magic Skill - 50) * Weather and Day bonus.

Beckoner's Bracers Increases TP granted by 110%.
Beckoner's Bracers+1 Increases TP granted by 120%.



Astral Conduit -- Instantly recovers 100% MP.
Reduces Blood Pact recast timers to 0 upon use, and keeps them at 0 for the duration.

Assault -- A Summoner's level 1 Job Ability which commands his/her current avatar to attack a target.


Retreat -- A Summoner's level 1 Job Ability which commands his/her current avatar to stop attacking and move to you. If another monster attacks you after using this, it will auto-attack the new target as normal for when a summon is not engaged.


Release -- A Summoner's level 1 Job Ability which commands his/her current avatar to go back to the "nether-world" from which it was summoned.


Avatar's Favor -- Channels the avatar's power towards a beneficial status effect for party members within range. Increases perpetuation cost while active.
