I believe there's more stats to this food then previous poster. Upon some research and diggin' I found that Goulash has the following stats:

VIT+3 INT-2
Accuracy+10%
Defense+10%
!Store TP+1
!Arcana Killer

!= Needs to be confirmed

+VIT, +ACC and +DEF make this food alright especially if STORE TP and ARCANA KILLER can be confirmed. But of course, there is better food.
