So, this fish is pretty much useless, except to NPC for gil. It's not used in fish ranking, it's not used for Zaldon, and it's not used for guild points. It does NPC for about 335 gil, so it will help your pocketbook while fishing for Liks.
I agree with Seyton. Absolutely useless except for 2 things, NPC's for a nice amount of gil... not great, but not bad either... additionally when fishing for skill you can fish off either of the bridges in lufaise meadows with a minnow and this is a guaranteed catch as you can tell what is a fish and what isn't based on the chat box text. helps to bridge the gap between 70-75 skill nicely.
