The reason these are 100k+ is because when people want to spawn Amarok/Orthrus on the fly, they don't want to bank on getting it to drop from the NM or finding it in a gold chest while farming time. Sometimes you'll find 2 in the same chest. Other times, you'll go 2 hours farming time and gold pyxides and will see nothing but Vadleany Fluids and Sharabha Hides, even with the appropriate amount of amber light.
Post 95 update (they increased Ansherekh's drop rate on this), killed 7 Ansherekhs with no treasure hunter and got 4 tiger king hides, and 2 from a chest.
It's not a conclusive test by far, and I could have just been lucky, but signs point to a significant increase in drop rate. It's no wonder the price is crashing (well, this, combined with everyone and their mom XPing)
Its ok, 100k for an item i usually get in like 30 mins from a gold check doing dominion...Im suprised it's that high when its a common gold chest item.
