There is always acid bolts if you want the effect on the target, which has a high proc chance and lasts for a few minutes. To be honest, skip this dagger and use mercenary's or decurion's (the level 20 ones), the accuracy+2 helps, even more when dual wielding a pair.
Don't listen to Cymmina, she is an idiot... These work well.. being a low damage / low delay weapon, you will be swinging them quite a bit, and chances are that during those many swings the additional effect will go off. These daggers rock for the level and cost.
