Ice ore are heavily gardened, which is why the supply is always somewhat high. The failure of growing ice ore is multiple platinum leaves, which sell upwards of 1700 gil, which is why many people chooce ice ore to garden.

yep. only ore growing i know of that even a failed harvest will bring you 100-150k from just selling the platinum leaves to NPC.
