@Mithraspike (i'm not sure if you really did tested it as you state)
Aeolian Edge is DEFINITELY affected by Magic Attack Bonus, as shown with use of MAB Atma and Wind+ Magic Boost Atma (Ultimate & Gale).
As for this piece of gear, it is great for THF as there's no other MAB type of head piece for THF, and I tested this piece @ same gear, same 300TP, and same mob, no weather/day condition that potentially can affect the dmg, without head piece dmg is 1583, with it dmg is 1665. I highly doubt the increase of +3 INT will make such big different
