Ah, the Talkboy, Im sure they were around before home alone 2, but their sales skyrocket after the movie.

I remember when I was young, Virtual Boy was suppose to be the future of gaming, until it made half its user base go blind or cause eye problems.
I also remember, back in the good ole days, when it was ok for kids to go outside with a stick, a tree, and some cardboard boxes, and he/she would be entertained for the week.
In that same time period, girls liked dolls, boys like G.I.Joe, babies loved Barney, adults hated the sex talk, and kids got their *** tore up.
Cartoons back then were violent, but we all knew it wasn't possible to smash someone in the face with a mallet and expect them to live, or swallow an entire pool of water and spit it out someplace else.

I never got a blister before but we did have a controller where the joystick had been chewed by our dog so it had sharp pointy chew marks in it (the soft rubber padding was gone) and it would tear up your thumb. But we were limited on controllers! so we'd rock/paper/scissors its use when we'd play multiplayer LOL games are painful.

Oh man, I still have my Virtual Boy somewhere. I think it's still at my parents' house. I don't think it was the eye problems that was the killer though, after all it had a built in "you need to take a break" message every 30 minutes or so. I think it was more the fact that it was quite expensive, hardly portable, only one color, and didn't have very many games. The games it had were great though. I remember playing Mario Tennis for hours (with short eye breaks in between). I picked mine up for 30 bucks when they were on clearance. =3

Amazing series, love it when i was kid.
I dont read alot but these were fantastic.
But i have a question, anyone read the 3 books that lead up to animorphs. Its about the alien races that were fighting and the one who crash lands on earth and gives the powers to the kid. I read it when i was 12 and the teacher said it would be a hard book to understand. But i loved it, alot of hte book was done with "Telepathy". So the talking was done with weird symbols around theyre sentences.

I still have mine...right next to me even on my couch. I have a pink dog and a white cat and a purple cat. My older sister had a horse. The puppies you put cold and hot water on their eyes and they "magically" open and close.
I think I got the white one when I was like 5 years old so its practically as old as I am. Im not gonna pull the babies out because it takes alot of effort to shove them up in there.....which, not that I noticed when I was little, is actually kinda really creepy.
all I realized at the time was it was a great storage pouch. You didnt want to accidentally lose the babies.
