With that hat, you can set up a holy bolt set up with +50-something MND...
It hits for 90dmg plus 200 from light damage and attacks faster than a bow.
Not that bad if you ask me... but, it takes a proper set up!

How come whenever you are a blm or rdm, you find dark based mobs that need a brd or whm to be slept? But when you're a rng you always find all the light based mobs ._.

So I just fired off my 3rd PPA and ive only got 8k CP...... QQ. Least now i know what it was! GD d/c after i edited my macro reversed the change! So.... once i FINALLY get enough cp to get it from windy again.... it shall be mine again

Hmmm well i guess I'll just ask one of the few rngs i know that still uses xbow. For taht matter been a long time since i met one with marksmanship even lvld. So basically non caedarva mire aht urhgan pts is what killed the holy bolt spam?
I see but fires much faster. Hows your slug shots compare to your sidewinders. And hows trueflight i cant find any rngs that are even willing to unlock it.
Yeah most people I know see that whole not based on dmg of the bow as a down side. I see it was overcoming the major shortcoming of machine bow.. the pitifully low dmg. Plus really easy to get at least 13 MAB. Not to mention the +light dmg from light/apollo staff and trilling dagger if it works. Though im interested also in the fact that its magic dmg which tends to do full dmg more often on hardly mobs then normal ws.
sooooo. we got people that play this game with all jobs 75 and multiple maats cap people... and we still have only 20 combat merits?
