I prefer soloing on blm i can full rest after kills 1-3 so afk like 2 min for 30 sec of work then afk like 1.5 after chain3 and 1 on chain4 and get goodness liek this

EDIT: My RNG can make 3k as RNG/NIN with only 1 BRD though... :-P

The only time I couldn't go afk during a meripo was when stupid people decide to come /war.
Sure you can come DRK/WAR and make BIG numbers, but I won't keep you alive long enough to level.

gravity too good and too hard to relie on sleep/bind even with full enfeebling merits and like +40ish in gear
but yeah could probably hit chain 6-7 /sch though if i get dotted cant rest...

HEY I AM OFFENDED! I have BRD lvled (well lvled to 41) and I didn't turn into a douche. I already was one before I started!

The only time i enter "douche mode" on BRD is when they people in my party are just idiots. For instance i was meriting once with a pt, most of which werent 75 to begin with >.>, then none of them could hold hate on a bird so it was always either on myself or the RDM, And to top it all off, we couldnt even really chain, 7 was the highest we got... thats just asking for a BRD (or any self-respecting player) to leave so as to not waste their time. As for other situations, gotta think of it this way... why would you spend your time in a pt that is giving you inferior xp? kinda like syncing down to say 55ish for merits.
Personally ive only ever had that one PT that just sucked, but if it was shitty enough, id leave in a heartbeat.

Yes, I agree with this. It happened last week on my RDM.
True, I was a 73RDM, but I was the RDM and I had almost full Z gear (minus the Dalmatica).
But the DDers all went /war and were wondering why I had to rest every 3 minutes.

When I told them it was because I had to cure bomb their hate-grabbing-no-skill-having-***, then got a little offensive.
They said "Elvaan MP is too weak, we should have a Tarutaru".
I was done at that point and left the party- only to find out there was NO RDMs LFP at that level and they broke... hahahaha

I know a handful of BRDs that aren't douches. Of course, they don't main BRD. But I know what you mean about the career BRDs. Some CORs too.

Actually I might go lvl BRD to 75 as soon as I get BST and DRG to 37 ... just so I can break the stigma of BRD Douchebaggery

I dont merit pt anymore.. to many bad experiences on rdm you know the pts where your the only real mage yet still have like 3-6 people to refresh and haste and debuff mobs and heal while not a single melee can even do anything but autoattack and *** not even keep utsesmi up and well no one wants thf in there pts even though ive been doing 1.8k SATADE since like lvl 60ish and blu well ***son i solo insane on taht too
