I disagree. I have no problem whatsoever to wanting to put beautiful people on TV as news anchors. It drives ratings, and that's any channel's ultimate goals. But every other news channel has gorgeous women of all stripes and flavors. Brunettes, redheads, white women, asians, black folks. Pretty women all around. Fox just has a legion of straight-permed blue-eyed bottle-blonds. It's serious Stepford Wife material.

Maybe its how Fox News wants to be branded? Certain companies what to have what you may consider a "brand title" associated with their product. McD's has the Big Mac. Nike has the stripe. Halo has Master Chief. Maybe Fox News wants to be seen as a "Blond, straight hair anchorwomen-type of news?"

the fact that people actually take blond women seriously makes me laugh

Do they all come from California? Women in general are just as good at most everything as men, with a few exceptions on both sides of the argument.

Having a sexist viewpoint in the matter is just showing your own insecurities about real life tbh.

Not attacking you personally, just the idea in general btw.
