Are you really going to keep up with that argument? The initial question doesn't even make sense. Simple logic, etc. Oh, and successful troll is successful. I was just *** with you at first. I see that a couple of folks confused thinking they're posting on BG.
Great resource for enmity questions. Yeah last night I was looking at my relic thf feet and noticed, Enmity +2 Chr +5 ... hmm. If CHR affacted Enmity in a negative way why would they combine them?

I need to add more haste to my provoke macro :(
Is this the reason why my bst always gets slaughtered?
jk'ing xD Okay, from the perspective of 75BST and my 128CHR charm set that I idle in atm (better then idling in Hauberk or dusk melee set), my CHR does not affect Enmity.
CHR is specifically for Charm, Possibly Killer Traits (I get quite a few procs) and resist charm/trait. SE is kind of stupid how they do a lot of armor putting stats on it that would never be used for just for those stats, i.e. CHR on PLD gear. I believe though, CHR on PLD gear is thrown on their for Resist Charm and Undead Killer proc (warrenting Killer traits are boosted by CHR). So, it's not completely random to have CHR on PLD gear. :) Remora.Ninian said: No, SE just likes throwing random stats on like AF. SMN has INT wat. ^ This, It is random, but it has a small purpose no matter what. Generally considered a basic example of CHR not affecting enmity is Aegishjalmr, if CHR had a positive effect on enmity people wouldn't notice such a boost in hate management when wearing this piece.
isnt it supposed to help with shield block?
I'm pretty sure AGI helps shield block more, not CHR

So when the New weapons and trials came out i took it upon myself to map out all of the end weapons so i know what i could get on the Katanas. What i discovered is that if a katana started out with, lets say lighting, it stats would be dex and acc. just to make it clear dex is related to acc and to lighting. if the element on the weapons was say Fire, the end katana would result in STR and attack mods... with that being said i came up to Light element on a katana and it had CHR and Magic eva. using the same thing process could CHR /assist Magic Eva? that was my question.
Now im not trying to bring up another lol AV thread or change this in anyway. but if u guys remember back to SE AV video the plds had on koenig which had as u all know have alot of VIT and CHR. could that be how they lived through meteor? i only bring up the video as an example of how CHR might have been used. cause there are better gear for them to use then just that set. Before u guys go off and post crap about AV and the video remember i only used it as a reference to CHR and only used it for that reason. Seems far-fetched, but possible. There's still plenty of ***that's nigh impossible to test.
I'd bet it doesn't. INT increases the damage and MACC of our black magic spells; the same applies in reverse when a mob nukes you (noting that INT appears to have no affect on Drain/Aspir). MND has similar properties for MND-based nukes, etc. Only spell where I'd expect CHR to have an effect on resist rates would be Eyes on Me... dunno if it would help for the mob version though (such a threat anyway!) and it's not the best spell for PvP.
