including non rare/ex equip as well? im worried bout when i get back on and my character is stripped. im just confused about the whole LM-11 character suspension thing, this happened after 9pm est which would be past time for anyone to get ahold of SE to get the suspension lifted. if i got kicked out and got the incorrect pw/id right away then i would have been worried right then.

ya they restore your account to an earlier time if you did. Sometimes they charge. They charged my friend $30.00 to do so. Just make sure if they give you this option you SPECIFY the time you want your account restored to. If not they will choose a time for you and knowing how they do it, they will restore your account how it was a year ago. So let them know a SPECIFIC date you want it restored to.

alright thanks. just searched SE website and found this:

If you discover that the game data was altered due to unauthorized access, "it may be possible to restore the game data to the state it was in before it was altered through unauthorized access." However, we cannot specify exactly which point of time the data may be returned(bs). We also cannot return the data to a time frame designated by the user. There may be cases where, due to certain circumstances, the backup data isn't available and game data recovery is not possible. Additionally, Game data recovery can only be requested once per customer.

so im hoping that they will be able to restore it to a time earlier today.

Afaik the time period they can restore it from is pretty random for a lot of people. I wouldn't expect a rollback to a few hours before it was hacked.

The once per customer thing is also BS, I know people who have been restored a couple times.

I also think that "There may be cases where, due to certain circumstances, the backup data isn't available and game data recovery is not possible." this is ***, it's an electronic game, they should be able to rollback entire servers to any given date, since there should in theory be daily back ups for at least a month, if not a year.

Edit: Though what Bal said is right, the roll backs are sporadic, though they really shouldn't be.

Most likely not, i think SE does weekly back ups, and not every week, idk what they do, but you could be rolled back 24 hours, or a whole month. There's no way to know until after the restore.

I've heard that people with security token can have unlimited rollbacks, where anyone without is only allowed one...? Not sure how true that is but yeah.

original post, browser is being screwy.

after a sky farm today when i warped back into aht urghan, i was kicked out instantly. when i tried to log back in i received a LM-11 message saying my character has been suspended. i have never used any third party tool etc, been a legit player since 03. bout 20 mins of trying to login and kept getting LM-11 message, i am now getting incorrect pw/id message when i try to login, i had my pw autosaved so nothing should have gotten changed, i am the only person that has/knows the password, and original owner and player. thanks to SE's unkindly business hours i am not able to get ahold of them until tomorrow at 12pm est, i had my friend call a GM and he wouldnt do anything because its not his account. im seeing if anyone has had this problem before and what they did, im just worried about the possibilty of my account has been hacked.
thanks

Well LM-11 is either suspension or perma-ban. As for the wrong password/id it may have been a lock out due to your multiple attempts to log in.

Honestly the best thing you can do is sleep until SE's San Fran office opens at some crazy *** time and wait for the live chat for a couple hours. (I wouldn't bother calling, it's not toll-free and you'll be on hold for like an hour).
