But seriously, I can't pick it up until after work and then I have some other stuff to take care of. Looking forward to playing it late tonight and tomorrow though.

Just got my copy moments ago via Gamestation, just opened the box and about to play it.

I'm not gonna spoil it for everyone else, though. ^^

ah... welp if it was me i would have opened it when i first got it... what did u do? go to midnight release buy it then go to sleep? if so what was the reason to buy it midnight release if u wasnt even going to play it?? >.>;

I would imagine so he could play it when he woke up. Instead of having to get up, get cleaned up, run out to the store to get it still, then come back home and play.

If that was directed at me, i preordered online at Gamestation like Saturday night at 23:00am in the UK and it came just now, so i only just opened it. :P

lol he's at work, now so it sounds like he had to do all that stuff anyway for teh morning lol. but he stated he got the game in the night, but havnt opened it lol, so im guessing he went to midnight release to buy then he just went to sleep which defeats the purpose of going to a midnight release. lmao

Mine's been pre-ordered since November and I still don't have it ._. Amazon has let me down! /wrist

Game stop had it since last week. I had salvage and other crap last night I got tired.

I've had the game since Saturday. The game is less RPG, more Dungeon Crawler.. Unfortunately it'll be the only FF game I don't replay through.

No cities, no side quests, no world map, even freedom of choosing where to go is out of the window.

The game is pretty much follow where to go, maybe do a couple 'missions' which is basically the FFXII hunts.

On a positive note, the graphics and storyline are amazing, Sazh's voice acting is one of the best in any FF game to date, Vanille's accent may drive some people berserk.

Battles are pretty straight forward, most of the time it's press A/O, add a few shoulder button presses in now and then to change job rolls. If you played Star Ocean 3, you could have a general idea how battles are played out, just minus the freedom of movement yourself.

Really, a step back from even FF1, could of made a good film though.

i just got it last night, and havent gotten a chance to put it in ps3 yet >o,

but i did register the copy of the game and submit my applictiation for ps3 beta of FF14 with my betacode from registering the game :D

holy ***! i was right it was a digimon... got damn u know you'll seen too much cartoons when u see something and know its from somewhere just by looking at the art and how it was drawn @.@;

I got it at midnight and I have to say that its very impressive! A big step up from FFXII

Did you play it yet row? because unless you've played it non stop since midnight you probably don't understand ***about the story yet lmao.

God I love this battle system, its so fluid it feels like there is zero wait time because of the actions your party members are performing while you're either building your line up or waiting for the bar to progress to where you would like to start/finish an action.
